We had a wonderful stay at Melia Valencia. There was a little confusion when we first arrived as we were accidentally given the wrong room, but it was resolved quickly and professionally by the lovely Laura from The Level. She made the whole situation stress-free, and we're very grateful for her help. The hotel is bus away from old town (Bus 62) and Malvarosa (Bus 99). 15 minutes from the airport. Upgrading to The Level is definitely worth it. Having access to the exclusive lounge was a real treat and gave us a lovely place to relax in the afternoons instead of staying in our room. The swimming pool was a little small and quite crowded, so we only visited it once, but that didn't take away from our overall experience. The breakfast was exceptional, with a huge variety of options that changed every day. We'd especially like to commend Fran. He truly knows what he's doing and made us feel so welcome. He quickly remembered our group and even knew that I liked my scrambled eggs soft and runny without me having to ask again. We spent a day in Barcelona and missed breakfast, but when we returned the following morning, he mentioned that he hadn't seen us the previous day. That simple comment showed how attentive and caring he is. He greeted us every morning with a genuine smile, and it really made our day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Fran—you are a true gem of Melia Valencia. Even your colleagues speak so highly of you. We'd also like to thank the wonderful breakfast team, especially the three lovely ladies who, coincidentally, are all called Maria! The first Maria looked after us like family. One of my friends had an upset stomach, and she suggested drinking hot water with a little salt, which actually helped. Another Maria remembered my breakfast order after just two days, which was such a thoughtful touch. And thank you to Catia, who prepared my bagels every morning with a smile. These are the people who make guests feel genuinely cared for, and they are a real credit to the hotel. Please look after them—they deserve it. Celebrating my 40th birthday while being so well looked after made this holiday truly special. Thank you, Melia Valencia, for taking such wonderful care of us. We will always remember your kindness and hospitality, and we hope to return in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Melia Valencia, as I’d booked the trip as part of his 60th birthday present. We’d talked about visiting Valencia for some time, mainly so that my husband could visit the Mestalla stadium for a Valencia CF match (we enjoy visiting different overseas football grounds - him for the football, me for the hospitality!). I chose the Melia Valencia on the basis that we’d stayed at another Melia hotel in 2023 and enjoyed it. I was hopeful that the Melia Valencia would live up to my expectations, and it’s fair to say - it did! From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. Our room (1215) was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. On check-in, the receptionist told us that it was the start of Las Fallas, and explained what it meant (a festival to celebrate the start of Spring) which entailed the letting off of crackers in the city. We watched it a few days later and it was quite the experience. We ate in the hotel restaurant 4 out of the 5 evenings that we stayed, as it was quite reasonably priced, considering it’s a 4-star hotel. The food was very good overall, particularly the breakfast, which was plentiful and had lots of choice. The service staff were always attentive, particularly the dark-haired gentleman who was usually on duty in the evenings - I only wish I’d got his name. Location-wise, the hotel is close enough to be accessible to the main part of the city but far enough not to feel like you’re in a built-up area. We were only a 10-minute walk from the closest Metro station (Beniferri) and we found navigating the Metro system as a whole was quite straightforward. The city itself is beautiful, and there’s so much to see. We’ve got plans to revisit Valencia once the new Mestalla stadium is open (apparently it’s been around 12 years in the building already but scheduled to open in 2027 🤞) and we would absolutely stay at the Melia Valencia again - and not just because the new stadium is a 10-minute walk away! Thank you, Melia Valencia - we’re looking forward to visiting you again.

While we actually stayed at the hotel across the street (the Sercotel), we found ourselves coming over to the Meliá Valencia time and time again for our meals and drinks—and it completely blew us away! The Highlights: Amazing Food: The Food & Beverage options here are top-tier. We tried several items, but the burger and the club sandwich were absolutely amazing—perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and worth every penny. Wonderful Hospitality: The hospitality from the staff was great. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, professional, and attentive, making each of our visits feel special. Great Atmosphere: It became our go-to spot to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy a high-quality meal in a beautiful setting. If you are staying in the area and find your current hotel's food options a bit lacking or overpriced, do yourself a favor and walk right across the street to Meliá Valencia. Next time we visit the city, we will definitely consider booking our entire stay here just for the incredible service and dining!

“Great hotel”

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel in June and really loved it. Staff were extremely helpful. We had access to The Level so free food and drinks during 8am- 9pm. We rented bikes from the hotel as well. Stayed 4 nights in this hotel in June and really loved it. Staff were extremely helpful. We had access to The Level so free food and drinks during 8am- 9pm. We rented bikes from the hotel as well. It was a 30-35 minute walk into the old town and taxis were readily available. There was a lively swimming pool and also a great bar. Lots of choice for breakfast and good quality food. Would definitely recommend.
