This is a modern and no-frills business hotel, close to many companies in Lund. I come here often for work. Rooms are modern, fairly new and comfortable. It’s a 20-30 min walk from the city center and restaurants, so either you have a car, you like to walk, or eat at the hotel. But most of this has been covered in other reviews. I will focus my review on my single biggest grudge with this hotel: the iron. I know, this is not something people usually focus on, but I like to go to my meetings properly dressed, and I always iron my clothes, as a few hours packed in a suitcase makes them wrinkled. Most hotels would have a decent steam iron, either in the room, or available to loan. This one only has the cheapest possible iron, probably to tick a box somewhere. And it does not have any steam at all. The first few times I stayed here I got very frustrated as there is no way to get clothes properly ironed with the iron they provide. I asked for options at the reception, wrote complaints etc. Nothing changed. Still that crappy iron being the only option. Until I got a tip from a fellow colleague that changed my life. If the iron has no steam, I need to steam my blouses, skirts etc prior to iron them. Brilliant, how did I not think of that earlier? So here is my tip. Prior to ironing my clothes I steam them in the bathroom. To do this I hang my items on the inside of the shower, using the hangers from the room. Then I set the water at the hottest temperature (making sure I click the unlock button to get past the 38oC temperature), I turn on the shower (making sure to again click on the unlock button to get maximum pressure). Close the bathroom door (otherwise the steam will trigger the fire alarm in the room). Then just wait. I found that you need at least 20-30 minutes of steaming to be able to properly iron my clothes. I take this time to catch up with my emails etc. After this wait time, ironing – even with that crappy iron in the room – is a breeze. You’re welcome.

Pleasant check-in experience! The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the hotel's location within walking distance of Lund's center was convenient. Pleasant check-in experience! The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the hotel's location within walking distance of Lund's center was convenient. However, there were some notable downsides to our stay. The absence of charging facilities for electric cars was an inconvenience, and the area around the hotel was marred by litter and rodent presence. Despite our payment, we still received a ticket – Please note that the parking is not managed by the hotel. Our experience at the hotel's restaurant was disappointing. The seafood pasta dish contained only a few frozen shrimps and an excessive amount of cream and butter sauce. We will not be dining there again in the future.
