Radisson Blu Hotel, Malmö

“Amazing.”

Size of the rooms are very good, but the main praise goes to staff! Absolutely incredible, so friendly and helpful that I haven’t seen anywhere in a long time. Made us feel very welcome. Bee to this hotel 2-3 times and will go again.

The electric water kettle in my room was disgusting, with limescale and milk/coffee residue (some fool actually cooked coffee inside). The electric water kettle in my room was disgusting, with limescale and milk/coffee residue (some fool actually cooked coffee inside). I repeatedly called and asked for new one and was ignored (no one picked up) and then informed (after I went downstairs to ask) no ohter kettle is available. No problem, but clean the existing one?? Everything else was really nice, the chocolate, juice and fruit as a welcoming gift, the size of the room, really nice hot water etc. Breakfast is absolutely amazing.

“Decent hotel but improvements need”

Very convenient central location, about 10 minutes walk from the central train station and main square. Very convenient central location, about 10 minutes walk from the central train station and main square. Staff throughout our stay were very pleasant and attentive - smooth check in and with no issues. The foyer, restaurant and bar area are all very ambient and spotlessly clean and tidy. The corridors and rooms themselves are a little more dated, but still clean and tidy. The walls/celling and especially the carpet in our room had more than a few obvious marks and stains. The elevators were very speedy and we never had to wait long for one! Set up of the room very strange, and an interesting use of the large space available. The bed was in one corner of the room with a television on a unit at the bottom of the bed, which made it awkward for one person to get out of bed. There was then a largely unused floor space in the middle of the room where the bed could have been. Perhaps a wall mounted television would be better, or positioned elsewhere. Bed was very soft and comfortable and slept well both nights. Shower did not work despite following the instructions to turn the tap. We still had access to hot water and were able to take baths, but we would have raised this with staff if we had been staying longer. The bath did seem to leak quite readily Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise for a hotel stay, and all very tasty - very wide range of choice of both continental and hot food, and hot and cold drinks. Very slow check out as only one staff member on reception, and we couldn’t use the drop box as we needed to store our bags. The lady working on reception also allowed someone else to jump the queue so we had to wait even longer. This would have been a 4 star review if not for this.
