I visited the spa with some friends without doing any personal treatments. I really enjoyed the spa, especially the quiet areas so I wasn't always bothered by people chatting and got areas where I could chat with friends. I wish I would have known to book some of the treatments ahead of time. I did a 24 hour reset and the next day everything was booked up. I am also vegan so I struggled with the food options. For two of the meals, I just had the option of some marinated tofu, which was pretty bland. Tofu is actually versatile and one can do a lot more with it than just marinating it and warming it up. It was a little bit disappointing given that there are so many different vibrant meat options. I think for one of the meals I had absolutely no vegan option so I had to go with vegetarian. Also, I thought the fruit options would be a bit more than just apples and pears and if you wanted to get chips and a drink, it was 50 KR for a small bag of chips, which I felt was a little bit extortionate. In general, I did really enjoy my stay but I think I would probably prepare a little bit better. I hope they look into doing something more inventive with plant based options.

We had a pleasant stay overall, thanks to the excellent hotel facilities and the warm welcome we received on arrival. The staff were exceptionally friendly and gave us a thorough introduction to the hotel, its facilities, and the spa. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of high-quality, delicious food. Unfortunately, our dinner at the restaurant was a major disappointment and did not match the otherwise high standard of the hotel. The service was rude, but the long waiting times were even worse. We waited 40 minutes for our starters, and after finishing them, we had to wait for more than an hour for our main courses. During that time, a table seated after us received both their starters and main courses and finished their meal before we were served. What made the experience even more frustrating was that no one acknowledged the delay or apologized. A simple apology or explanation would have gone a long way. The hotel itself is excellent, but the restaurant experience left a very negative impression and unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay.
