From the lobby, to the elevators, to the hall ways, to the rooms, it is a very cool and nice vibe with everything. Nice internal decorations and furniture, that is also mirrored in the rooms. Had a double booked, and asked for a high floor and received nr18, which had a very nice view of Ullevi and the city. Highest floor for rooms. Nicely decorated and large. Bed was almost bigger than 180cm, I think. Soft and nice, but pillows way to soft. Nice lounge group to sit in, but no desk for working at. Bathroom is very cool, with a view! Good size, but way to small zink and space to put things. The room has dents hear and there and looks already after only a few years, like people are really not treating them well. The pool was open, and heated, but did not have the time. Did not visit the gym or any restaurant, except for breakfast. Which was good, but nothing special, ie. ala-carte to order from. Overall a very cool place, but a little bit of the city center. A 25-30 min walk to get there. But its a hotel that offers a lot as well, so if you just want to chill, you could easily spend a weekend just staying in and eating at any of the restaurants and hang in the bars. Will try again for sure and try out more of the facilities.

“Great Hotel, Amazing Food & Facilities”

We arrived at the hotel on Valentine’s Day for an overnight stay. Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was perfect with beautiful views of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. Coffee facilities were available in the cabinet, and the bathroom was a good size. We needed an iron, so we called reception and they promptly brought both an iron and ironing board to the room. We then made our way to the spa, which looked exactly like the photos you see on Instagram. The spa itself was very nice and there were plenty of board games available for guests to enjoy, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the service. We ordered drinks, but unfortunately the gentleman serving forgot our order and we ended up waiting around 45 minutes in total. The spa was quite busy, although this was expected given it was Valentine’s Day. Two hours there felt like the perfect amount of time. There is also a rooftop pool, but it was too cold for us to use during our visit although the pool is heated. We had a reservation for dinner at Archie’s and I have to say it was one of the best meals I’ve had when dining out. We enjoyed a three-course meal: baked brie to start, steak for the main course, and a chocolate dessert. The whole dining experience from start to finish was excellent. After dinner we visited the bar, which again was a great experience. Breakfast the next morning offered a wide range of options including pancakes, a cheeseboard, and many other choices. The breakfast was a 10/10 with something for everyone. However, it was extremely busy, so I would recommend arriving early. The hotel itself has lots of activities available such as interactive golf, board games, and games located throughout the hotel for guests to enjoy. There is also a gym available. Overall, the facilities are excellent. I honestly feel there is no need to leave the hotel as it has everything you could need on site. The surrounding area is very quiet, although there are several bus stops nearby with frequent services into the town centre, which is around 30 minutes away. In the afternoon, the hotel also served a mini afternoon tea for guests, which I thought was a lovely touch. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return in the future.
