We had an exceptionally pleasant stay at this tranquil, beautiful hotel. The service is welcoming, food exquisite, rooms immaculate! The highlight for us was the quality of the Spa-an outstanding experience inmiddst of the majestic mountain scenery from the outdoor pool. We will be back!

We have stayed at the Bellevue Parkhotel & Spa >25 times and are fascinated regardless if it is for a full week or just the weekend. There is always something new to discover: a new hiking path or a biking tour, a new delicious dish added to the Menu, a new cocktail to try at the elegant Bar (particularly attractive in Winter when the real fire is warming your heart & soil), a new cheese to try at the famous Cheese Degustation Friday evenings, new cake to indulge on during the 15:30-17:00 Cakes & Tea time, a new treatment offered at the Spa, etc. It is a wonderful place to relax, recharge the batteries and reconnect with Nature and with oneself. Magical.

“Nice Hotel, But I Didn't Feel Welcome”

I arrived at the lovely Bellevue Park after a long day of hiking on the Via Alpina. My luggage had been transferred ahead; and the staff had sent it to my room. So far so good. But my greeting was somewhat unfriendly and curt. And there seemed to be some fact-checking and discussion before they gave me my key (No idea why; I don't speak German). It would have been nice if they had told me there was a free snack buffet open for guests at that time, but they didn't. (I discovered this later). After finally receiving my key, they pointed to the restaurant and said the English version of the menu was posted. But when I walked over, the waitstaff didn't know anything about that; they handed me the German version they had. (I was in the mood for much simpler fare, so I ate elsewhere). The room was nice but faced the hillside, so no views to enjoy. I slept well. In the morning I arrived to the breakfast buffet just as it opened. Because I had not eaten at their restaurant the previous night, the staff pointed me to a secluded area behind the main dining room. (I felt like I was at the kids' table). No self-serve coffee here - the waitress had to bring it. It was very late (after I finished my first plate). The cooked-to-order eggs, however, were excellent. Still, I expected a lot more for this hotel based on the price I paid.

“Small and outdated rooms but super spa and enjoyable external hot pool”

The place is located at the top of a small hill, not easy accessible. The atmosphere in the hotel is old style. The furniture is the same as the photos we can see in the stairs of the hotel that dated from the fifties. What is best is the modern next building spa and the hot swimming pool outside. … more

The place is located at the top of a small hill, not easy accessible. The atmosphere in the hotel is old style. The furniture is the same as the photos we can see in the stairs of the hotel that dated from the fifties. What is best is the modern next building spa and the hot swimming pool outside. This is very enjoyable. The service at the table is outstanding and the meals are excellent (bravo to the chef). A major drawback is the fact that we had to pay more than 8 Sfrs for the bottle of tap water for two people...The dining service is very slow in the evening. The rooms at the mountain side are small and very old. I was happy to leave after a few days. I could not stand anymore.
