Our stay at the Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel in Grindelwald was truly one of the most special hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment you walk into the hotel, you are immediately greeted with the most stunning and breathtaking views of the Jungfrau mountains. The views alone are unforgettable. As soon as we arrived and saw the scenery, we immediately requested to pay for an upgrade to a Mountain View room — and it was absolutely worth it. We stayed in a family suite, which was thoughtfully designed and perfect for traveling with children. Our two girls absolutely loved the bunk beds in their small separate room. The suite also included both a separate toilet room and a full-size bathroom with a shower and bathtub, which made the setup especially convenient for a family. Our balcony overlooking the mountains was another highlight, with truly spectacular views that we never got tired of admiring. Beyond the beautiful property itself, what really makes this hotel special is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and memorable. Our girls also had fun in the downstairs playroom, which included games, a pool table, table tennis, and other activities that kept them entertained after long days of exploring. One of the most memorable experiences of our stay was booking the hotel’s gondola fondue dinner experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and it created such a unique and special family memory that we will never forget. This is truly a one-of-a-kind property that combines breathtaking beauty, comfort, family friendliness, and exceptional hospitality. We would absolutely love to return someday.

This was an outstanding hotel. We stayed for four nights, using Grindelwald as a base for many adventures in the region. The service quality, cleanliness and price value were exceptional. Fred E at checkin was a perfect host, taking care of our room (and a special treat for our anniversary) and offering a beverage upon arrival. We loved meeting Carole and Phil Hauser and experiencing their excellent guest service Sunday evening at the reception. We loved the breakfast in the morning - food and service were excellent. The spa, sauna, steam room and hot tubs were enjoyed after a long day of hiking and activities. Overall, this is a 10/10 hotel and we highly recommend it.

Another amazing stay at the Belvedere. This time, I had my suitcase stolen on the train between Basel and Interlaken (note, don't leave your luggage on the luggage rack when travelling). The hotel drove us all the way back to Basel to retrieve my case (we found it and most of my belongings using my AirTag) and wouldn't take any money from us. They even sent a packed lunch with the driver in case we hadn't eaten. At the hotel, they also offered to wash my clothes free of charge as the thieves had thrown these into shrubs next to the car park where they dumped the case. Everyone in the Belvedere was so nice and kind to us, but special shout outs to Roxanne who arranged for our lift to Basel and Wahid who did all the driving (5 hours in total!). As always, Felix, Alina, Arturo and the team in the dining room were amazing and the bar and reception teams whose names I don't know. Everything is made easy here, and I would recommend the Belvedere to anyone and everyone. A really great place!
