“Lovely spot for a drink in the sun”
If you have a bit of time spare while you're in Zweisimmen (or, as was the case for us, at the end of the GoldenPass journey from Montreux) and you're not skiing, then taking the Rinderberg Gondola halfway to the Rinderberg Lodge is a great way to spend an hour or two. “Amazing lodge”
We had a brilliant experience at Rinderberg Swiss Alpine Lodge. The setting is spectacular and the facilities were excellent. “Super Swiss”
Don't be discouraged by the narrow, single-lane road to get up to the lodge. Everything was great, from the location, the rooms, the service and the amenities. “Amazing views, crappy way of getting here.”
This place was wonderful other than the gondola. We had plans to take our travel pass and train over to several cities to visit while using Rinderburg Hotel as the homebase…..this unfortunately caused a lot of issues because I was not aware that the gondala would not start until 9am, and shuts dow… more
