“Great location, minor improvements would make for ideal stay!”
Great location and cute small hotel. The rooms do not have air-conditioning, which is fine, but upon opening window windows, flies get into the room. At least have a fly swatter available in the room. Pillows should be softer/fluffier. There was a fan available in the room, but it could be more… more

“Fantastic location to explore Gruyere w friendly staff”
The location is great for exploring Gruyère. As others mentioned there is no parking at hotel, a short walk up a cobblestone hill from a paid parking lot of 10CHF/d if parking between hours of 8:30a-6p. We’ve traveled all summer, and our meal at the Hotel de Ville was perhaps the best we had. The local trout and the quiche were truly exceptional.
