“Great view of the mountains and lake from the room”

Great view of the mountains and the lake. Excellent service and amenities. The only improvement needed is putting a kettle in the room as well as brighter lights for the room as the room was quite dim. Location is a bit out of reach and not quite nearby to other areas.

First the good bits – Fabulous situation (apart from main road between hotel and lake) with ferry terminal opposite Lovely lady in charge of the restaurants, Sabrina, (who seems to work all day) who has her keen eye on everything that is happening and is there when needed with great humour. Also the lady cleaners who went above and beyond Really comfortable bed. But then - No reception just a telephone Lost two bookings. One made months ago (that they very kindly changed the date of despite not strictly needing to) and the other made the night before. Even told me that I was at the wrong hotel until I told them booking through Booking.com. Room not up to standard of the price – no air conditioning despite temperatures in 30’s (fan provided but noisy). Coffee machine but didn’t work and was not repaired despite request. Incidentally, the mangled pod remained in the machine for the duration of our stay and was not replaced so it would appear you get two cups of coffee for the whole of your stay no matter how long. Bathroom far too small yet corridors really wide which would have allowed bigger space. Bathroom towels too small. Smoking -WHY is smoking permitted in external dining areas and on balconies ruining the enjoyment of the vast majority of non-smokers? Three tables around us in the dining area were all smokers – in the Balearics, at least, it is not allowed within 5 metres of dining. Our balcony was stinking of smoke many times necessitating going inside the furnace – not just during the evening but also late morning when trying to work. Room Wifi totally non-existent in evenings as hotel full and too many people wanting to use it. Intermittent at best other times. Standing outside the front door of the hotel allows you to download programmes to watch. Plus had to re-enter password several times and even, when shared from another device, told me that it was wrong!! As it is so poor, why do they need a password anyway- especially a complicated one!

“Overall disappointing”

Stunning views but service not too good (shortage of staff) Also very limited menu in restaurant, which was often closed even though we had an email conformation advising it would be open every evening of our stay!! However there are some lovely other options nearby with better menus.
