“GREAT Hotel in Klosters”

Top hotel in Klosters. Great service; knowledgeable and friendly staff; great suite; outstanding food . ALL around -highly recommended. having been in Klosters many times, staying in this hotel, while not cheap, has been by far the best experience I had in Klosters.

We came back here as a family of Five for Christmas 2021. We have stayed previously in a summer period. The hotel is just wonderful. The staff are truly incredible. They organise everything for you, from ski passes, to skiing lessons, to activities and even to brilliant breakfasts either in the dinning room or in your own room. Our rooms were fabulous, cleaned daily by lovely lovely teams. Thank you Team Vereina for making our 2021 Christmas and the entire week so special.

“One of our favourite hotels in Klosters”

Nice balance between tradition and a fresh look, nice rooms and good breakfast. Some of the rooms facing onto the road are rather noisy, go for those higher up or on the side if possible. Parking available, not all spots easy to get into.

It was a strange experience as we were booked into the Steinbock, we liked the 'Alpine' look of the Steinbock. Anyway, near the date we were due to arrive, by chance looking for the Steinbock's menu, we noticed that it was shut and guests were being sent to the Vereina - but we had not been told this and only found out by chance. Had we not found out for ourselves, we'd have turned up at the Steinbock - and found a building site! The owner was apparantly having an apartment built on top. The notification about the Steinbock's closure was not on the hotel web site at the time of booking. Anyway - it seems this did us a favour as the Vereina is actually rather a good hotel - so why be so coy about the hotel when it should be promoted better and the owners less shy about it? The hotel is big, a dominant location and should really be Klosters' leading hotel. The style of the vast reception/sitting area is a little odd - sort of Alpine meets Asia with some furniture and fittings more like something from a hotel in Singapore, but it's smart and comfortable enough. The room we had - after haggling as we had booked a higher price double at the Steinbock and been offered a lower price double at the Vereina - was a suite and was vast, probably bigger than most people's appartments. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed - it even had a kitchen, so you could live here comfortably for several days, or longer. Large and clean bathroom and comfortable bed, a huge sitting and dining room, with fire place and a huge terrace round two sides, with good views over the large garden and distant mountains. At the time we travelled, it was not possible to book the Vereina, though the hotel was quiet. In reality, a very nice, comfortable and good value hotel, well located and with good facilities, it deserves more attention. Dinner was in a much more Alpine styled restaurant, was quite pleasant and a nice setting. There is a large conservatory and sitting area, indoor pool and large garden. A short walk to the station and town centre. There is a garage under the hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. No need to be shy Vereina - promote the hotel on its merits as its a good hotel.
