Great hotel located right next to the ski lifts. It is one of the very few true ski in ski out properties in the area. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes from St Moritz, which makes it a much better value compared to the overpriced options in town. There is a beginner slope right next to the hotel, which is perfect if you are just starting to ski. The wider ski area is better suited to intermediate skiers, with mostly red runs. That said, this hotel is also fantastic for non skiers, with incredible views, easy access to winter hikes, and beautiful walks straight from the doorstep. The hotel has two restaurants. Prices are on the higher side, as expected in Switzerland, but the quality of food is excellent. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations throughout our stay. Overall, I would definitely choose this hotel again over staying in St Moritz. You get unbeatable views, direct access to skiing and outdoor activities, and a much more relaxed and authentic alpine experience.

“Perfect Place for a Skiing Holiday”

Excellent location, direct connection to the ski elevator, good slopes around. Very comfortable accommodations, with high-quality, rationally designed facilities and a professional, caring and warm team. Nira Alpina provided everything we needed for a memorable holiday.

Had drinks and dinner at their rooftop bar. Sabrina who is the head bar mistress took care of us like royalty and concocted the most amazing alcoholic potions. A killer (Sabrina’s) signature Popocorn sour (perfectly balanced and exquisite) and a maker’s mark whiskey sour (might have even beat mine, to say!) Followed by some delicious buttered chicken and calf’s Tatar with truffle…killer! I can only recommend and do let Sabrina know what you are in the mood for and she will oblige. Total gem 😎

Very nice modern alpine hotel conveniently located to the Corvach Gondola. There's a public bus stop out front, which can bring you to downtown St. Moritz and other ski area lifts. Very nice modern alpine hotel conveniently located to the Corvach Gondola. There's a public bus stop out front, which can bring you to downtown St. Moritz and other ski area lifts. The bus systems are great, but the last bus trip to the hotel is 6pm so you need to take (stupidly) expensive cabs or Ubers out of the area and it is remote. A 4 minute cab ride was 40 CHF (about $50 USD). Pros: Nicely appointed rooms, stunning views, excellent buffet breakfast included, quiet and restful, clean, friendly and accomodating staff and management. The spa looked nice but I didn't use it. Cons: If you want a more central location this isn't it. Property restaurants are very good but like everything in Switzerland, they are expensive.
