“Lakeside Retreat in Lugano”
We travelled from Milano Centrale to Lugano by train, and the hotel kindly arranged a complimentary shuttle pickup from the train station. “Nice hotel, recommended.”
I had the executive room with lake view. Very nice with friendly staff and excellent service. 10-15 minute walk to downtown. But it was in the next building not the white building in the hotel photo. Nice overall experience, I recommend staying there.

The location is absolutely amazing with amazing views of the water. The service from arrival is nice. I think the hotel is in process of renovations from what we heard online so we believe our rooms were one of the older ones.
