Hotel is combined with the adjacent Villa Principe Leopoldo where there is an excellent private spa, and shares part of the services with it. The environment is luxurious, secluded, quiet and relaxing, the rooms are real apartments, well finished and comfortable. The location is not central, but it is easily reachable in a few minutes from downtown Lugano and railway station via public transport (bus 436) and also by the free shuttle service offered by the hotels themselves (Park Hotel Principe and Villa Principe Leopoldo), several times a day. The staff is exquisitely courteous. Honorable mention to Aurora, who efficiently organized check-in, check-out and spa for us, procured a TPL pass for the weekend even before our arrival and provided all kinds of information promptly and accurately, to Giorgio, who accompanied us to the spaces and services of Villa Leopoldo, organized a personalized transfer to the station for the return plus a room to change clothes and recover our luggage, Lino, a very courteous, punctual, expert and reliable driver who assisted us with professionalism and kindness. Since the structure shares some functions and services with Villa Leopoldo, the latter's spectacular lake-view terrace should be mentioned. Breakfast is abundant and delicious; in addition nearby, within walking distance, excellent restaurants "La Cantinetta" and "Il Giardino" are located.

It’s very well located in Colina D’Oro in Lugano. The rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was very good, you can order a small pizza at almost all day. Cross the street to the sister hotel, Principe Leopoldo and enjoy the view of llegamos lake and have a drink I recommend to the staff that you install electric outlets next to the bed.

“Huge room for solo traveler”

So I need to preface that this was a chosen hotel by a Tour company that I was traveling solo with. Location was fantastic! Very close to everything! Staff were also very friendly and spoke English . The rooms themselves were a pleasant surprise since as a solo person I get horribly small rooms. This one was like a sweet. I even had a mini stove and sink! However, there are absolutely no plugs anywhere! So good luck with charging anything. There was also a cute little outdoor area, but in the night it was super scary because they have sheer curtains and I felt uncomfortable with that. There was a beautiful pool area and we actually had our breakfast outside. The breakfast did not have any eggs! And they seem to have no interest in doing so. But remember pretty much all of these hotels will have a large amount of Chinese tourist! And they are very rude and will take all the food. In the actual rooms, everything was accommodating, but the pillows once again in Switzerland are very flat and bad for your neck. There are no washcloths. There was a combination, shampoo, shower gel. And this one actually had lotion. No wash cloths !
