Amazing location, 5 foot steps to main station Vevey, 5-min walking from genevey lake and famouse Vevey fork. I stayed here severaltimes already and always like the ambience. It has enough that we need: a fridge, microwave, a small cute bathroom; a common kitchen and laundry area which is free. The 3rd time I brought my parents there for us to join my graduation ceremony. We were assigned a small cute room. Furniture inside the room were old, walls were moldy a bit. When we ask a female staff where can we park our rental car, she was very hesitate and kept saying "No, I am sorry we can't find any places", "No places is available" and shakes her head constantly. I also ask is there any further place to park and she still said no no. It's like she was not even try. Then we found a place for us to park overnight which is in front of the station and it is free of charge. We were quite confused and unsatisfied. Still it is a nice place to stay

I booked a balcony room so was on the fifth floor. Be aware that some rooms on this floor are not step free and some do not face the lake. Pros, Convenient for buses and trains, local supermarkets, there's a larger Coop five minutes walk away. The mattress was comfy and the design of the room and bathroom well thought out. Cons, Thin pillows Confusing lighting system Ineffective air con Although cups, glasses, a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine are provided, there's no other cutlery or plates etc to prepare and eat meals in the 'apartment' you have to either use the shared kitchen in the basement (not convenient or appealing to some, myself included) or have bring own/manage with disposables purchased elsewhere. Also, the crossroads near the apartment appears to be a hang out for dealing (if you've seen The Wire, sitting on the balcony was like a season one stakeout) so walking around on your own and or late at night could feel a bit risky, especially as you must use your own key code to enter the building after 6pm and there's nobody on reception at night and weekends. This is not the fault of the building but something to be aware of. I did ask about the Montreux Riviera Card before check in and was told it would be in my room upon arrival, it wasn't but a quick email and it was ready for collection in the morning. That said, had it been the weekend I would have been upset to not have it for use during the whole of my stay. Overall the staff I interacted with were helpful and the help email team were responsive. However, I am not sure I would choose to stay here again as I was looking for a fully functioning kitchenette and a greater presence from staff.

I booked this accommodation for its location and reasonable prices, based on the fact there is no hotel services, such as a reception or a room cleaning. So everything was done at distance. Having to pay while it was still cancelable is problematic. But I had to do it. Upon arrival, I had to use the code delivered and found my (rather little) room at the top floor. Steps were required, not only to enter the building but also to access the room. With luggage, it is not that convenient. While the bed was all right, and the terrasse nice (although it was overlooking the railroad), the issue was the kitchenette: there is no sink, forcing guests to use the one of the bathroom! The coffee machine is traditional (i.e. no capsules). So I had to go and purchase ground coffee. And it was a mess to make it, with no sink nor bin around. In addition there is no cutlery available in the room. Fire alarm broke during the night, because of the bad behaviour of a guest in another room. So we had to go out. Not only there were no meeting point indicated, and of course no staff available, but in addition we had to call the VisionApartments' service centre for them to call the fire brigade! Safety-wise, this is hardly acceptable. Had it been a serious issue, people could have been harmed! So, all in all, I won't repeat the experience.
