“Best place for active people in Zermatt”
Very welcoming staff & owners, that are constantly present and take care of their guests. Extraordinary hotel gym, huge pool, excellent and comfy restaurant and best location, within 2min from the train station. Very clean everywhere and the deluxe suite was extraordinary spacious. “Look no further - best in Zermatt”
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in 40 years of travel to Europe. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is excellent (decor, food and service). It is centrally located one block from the Main Street and 5 minutes from the train station.

“Comfortable-Nice Rooms Great Staff. Breakfast not too good. Dinners were good.”
The hotel is quaint and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large with a sitting area with TV apart from bedroom. Large whirlpool tub. Our dinner meal was quite good. The breakfast is so- so. Good bakeries nearby open @ 7 AM.

“We would stay there again!”
The Alex Hotel was wonderful. Slightly quirky, and full of charm. Even opening in 1961, it has the beautiful craftsmanship of years gone by. It is a bit of a walk to the lifts, but doable.
