“Shoulder season in the Alps”
This is for sure the slow shoulder season in Zermatt. Shops and cafes closed till middle of May. Slow is great with us and the staff at Backstage did not take a single day off. If hospitality and friendliness were an exclusive Swiss watch, like Patek Philippe, Hublot etc. it would be named Dimi and Laura at the Backstage Hotel. The hotel has great reviews, highlighting the creative design. The spa is also highlighted, with its many separate “cabins”, hot tub and relaxation areas.
