“Best hotel in Zermatt for Skiing and summer hikes”
If you want to wake up and have breakfast in the shadow of the Matterhorn and be on the slopes without walk, lift, bus, ... at 8.30 in the morning, this is the place where you need to be !

“Everything was excellent!”
The front desk staff, wait staff, and all employees were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The views were incredible; from the room, deck, and surrounding property. This was a good value. I highly recommend staying at Schwarzsee!

“What an adventure!”
I really wrestled with weather it was better to stay in town or on the mountain. I am glad I elected to stay at Hotel Schwarzee, although it definitely has its advantages and disadvantages. “Great location but need to improve service and breakfast”
Hotel is in a great location but the staff is rather agressive and the check in policy is very strange.Breakfast is the cheapest version possible.
