We stayed in the suite which was fine for two people and could have slept two more. Modern fittings in glass and metal, large comfy bed, practical bathroom (shower, no bathtub) - all very compact. Huge TV though we preferred to gaze at the view! The kitchen was adjacent so it was easy to make a cup of tea or coffee if need be. Easy to find by taking the bus from the station (the Midi stop is right opposite the hotel); going back was downhill and a shortish walk, either in the Montreux direction through the old town or down the avenue to Territet - you can walk to Chillon castle from there. We were given travel passes which were very handy for the bus, together with a useful map. Excellent and copious breakfast and a charming host. As you are given a key code to enter the hotel and your room, you feel very free to come and go as you please. Small garden, some rooms with terrace.

Excellent location! Magnificent view of Lake Geneva and the mountains. Comfortable bed and room, although a little tight. Bus stop across the street. Excellent location! Magnificent view of Lake Geneva and the mountains. Comfortable bed and room, although a little tight. Bus stop across the street. There is a wonderful cafe within walking distance and other restaurants are within walking distance. The owners are very kind and helpful. Do visit Castle de Chillon, Queen Studios, Roche de Naye, and CERN.

“Good option in Montreux”

BnB Belalp is a nice option in Montreux. We enjoyed having a terrace with a bit of a view. The hosts are kind and helpful. The room is clean and enough but could use some updating. Our shower head was on its last leg and it would be great if the lighting could be made so that the lighting from the bathroom area doesn't encroach into the bedroom area. It was very nice to have an air conditioner and very much appreciated, though we found it very difficult to figure out! Breakfast was simple but delicious. It was wonderful to eat it outside with a view.

We stayed here for three nights in August 2019 in Room 2. The owners are very welcoming and provided lots of useful information. There is a safe in the room. The room was very cluttered and the only storage space was a small canvas wardrobe on wheels. The bathroom was clean, but there was only one (thin) towel each (& flannel). Breakfast was Continental style – if you like cheese there is plenty of choice. Boiled eggs can be requested. Parking was the biggest issue for us. There is on-street parking and the BnB provided a Blue Parking Timer. The spaces near the BnB are for three hours only – so you can move the timer on every three hours – as long as you have a space! But it means returning to the car within three hours. There is a bus-stop for the 206 Service right outside the BnB. This is a circular service and runs into town and back every 20 minutes. The owners provide a Pass for public transport for the duration of the stay. We discovered that this works on the train as well as the bus. Unfortunately, the 206 service ceases at 8pm so if you don’t want to walk back then a taxi is required. Unfortunately, there are a lack of Taxis in Montreux – on one occasion we got the doorman at the Casino to call a taxi. Otherwise there is a taxi-rank at the station, but we had to wait for a taxi to arrive.
