It was a great hotel, close to the subway. Staff were kind and courteous, facilities were comfortable and luxurious.

TL;DR - Trendy and comfortable. It’s perfect for a fun little stay in Kaohsiung. Brio’s charm hits from the moment you spot the massive wooden door. The first floor is just security and luggage hold, so you’ll need to buzz up to the second floor to check in. Here is where you’ll see a bit more of the hip decor, like their front desk that looks like a large rock. The snack bar is on this level too, though nothing much to write about besides possibly free beer. On check-in, they surprised us with some great drinks and snacks for our anniversary. Totally unexpected, but genuinely appreciated. The room was bigger than expected, especially given how narrow the hallways felt. Design-wise, everything felt cool. The hotel is conveniently located across from Central Park, near many different train lines and bus routes. Just note that the front of the hotel is gated, so taxis might sometimes stop outside. We also went with the unlimited drinks package, which was fun and certainly worth it. The cocktails at the Lookout were solid, the service was quick, and there were endless views of Kaohsiung’s skyline. We did notice it was pretty quiet on a Tuesday night. We’d recommend coming on a weekend where the vibe’s likely better. All in all, Brio was a fun stay - perfect for a playful getaway.

We stayed at Brio Hotel Kaohsiung for 3 nights (4 days). When we were dropped off at the hotel, I was surprised to see construction taking place next door in the same parking lot. We were initially worried that the noise might affect our sleep. However, upon check-in, the staff were extremely welcoming and reassured us that the building is soundproof, so the construction wouldn’t be an issue. We were even treated to some delicious snacks at check-in, which was a nice touch. The room was clean and offered a lovely view. The mini-fridge was stocked with a variety of drinks, and there were some snacks in the drawer as well. To our surprise, these were restocked when we requested housekeeping service. We also really enjoyed the snack bars available at various times throughout the day— definitely a refreshing and thoughtful feature! We do have a few suggestions that could enhance the experience further: 1. The bathroom was a bit too dim, so additional lighting would be appreciated. 2. We had three guests but found there weren’t enough towel bars. Adding a few more would be helpful and could also encourage guests to reuse towels. 3. While likely not feasible to change, we noticed there’s no foyer or entryway—one of the bed is visible immediately upon entering the room, which affects the sense of privacy. Overall, we highly recommend Brio Hotel if you're visiting Kaohsiung! The staffs are superb, and the hotel is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed.

Brio Hotel was superb. The hotel is just a few steps from Exit 3 of the MRT Central Park Station, which made it very convenient to get to from the airport and to get around the city. It is modern and has a nice design. Bathroom was large and shower was superb with both handheld and rain shower types. Breakfast was a bit pricey but includes a served choice from the menu plus a small buffet and the restaurant on the top floor has a nice view. Complimentary snacks/drinks in the lobby as well as free beverages in the in-room refrigerator were a nice touch. Definitely would recommend.
