We stayed here one night in April 2026 in a Deluxe 2 person room with Mountain View. Since they never replied to 3 emails which we sent them 3-4 weeks before our arrival, our expectations were low. However first impression when we arrived was good. Our room was pleasant, with a wooden floor, airconditioning , a tv, a watercooker, safe and minibar. The hotel has water dispensers where you can (without any charge) refill your bottles with drinking water Shower and bed were very good, the WiFi excellent. The control of the airconditioning was 100% in Chinese so we had no clue how to adjust the settings. The bathroom is starting to look like it soon needs repairs or even a renovation. The room has a balcony. Diner buffet (with many dishes) was excellent, unfortunately the live music was very loud. The costs were TWD 882, around €25 per person. Breakfast buffet has many dishes but disappointing for us since 95% of the offerings are Asian dishes.

The rooms have everything required. There are snacks and drinks in the room but nothing to tell you that they are in fact complimentary. At the restaurant buffet for dinner it is not possible to put a Western meal together. There are main dishes but no vegetables or potatoes. The room has a "hot spring" bath. This is a total waste of time. It is just a normal bath that happens to have water that comes from a hot spring. There is a lack of English spoken by the staff.

“Bad laundry room experience. Would not stay here again.”

I came to Taitung to attend Taitung University's Overseas Mandarin Teacher Summer Camp. The program selected this hotel for us. I will list the pros and cons of this hotel. Pros: Clean, nice lobby, have free activities for guests such as soap making, etc. Nice updated room. Good breakfast buffet. Cons: Poor wifi connection. Have to make multiple attempts everyday to logon the wifi. Ended up having to use other's guestrooms wifi many times for it to work. My biggest complaint is the laundry room. We are staying in this hotel for 10 nights and the program is 2 weeks. Therefore, we need to do laundry. Originally, I was very excited that the hotel has a laundry room. However, it is on the rooftop floor with no A/C or any fans. It's July in Taitung and the weather is very hot! With no A/C or fan in the laundry room it's very unbearable for hotel guests to do laundry. I called the front desk to ask if they can bring a fan to the laundry room and she said because of fire hazard they don't put a fan in there. Also, the laundry room in located in this uninsulated, dark rooftop floor. I don't understand why they can't even put a light up there. Lastly, there is no phone located in the laundry room or outside. So, when the washing maching broke today, I had to go down to the lobby at least 3 times to request help. Very frustrating and unplesasnt experience. Would recommend this hotel if you don't need to do laundry. However, if you plan to don't stay here. Also, service is not very good. The employees here don't seem to understand English. So, to communicate you would need to speak Chinese.
