The location is good, and it is within a few minutes’s drive to most tourist places, including Chimei Museum and the night market, which can also be reached via a 15 minute walk. The rooms are a generous size, especially the bathroom, which is basically divided into three compartments of shower, toilet and sink area. You get four bottles of water, some snacks, and coffee and tea. There is also a mini safe, which is convenient. They have dry cleaning services which can be returned within 24 hours. There is also laundry facilities on the 2nd floor, but that was constantly in use by the local Taiwanese guests on the two days we stayed here. Wifi was strong, and there was enough power points, though curiously not next to the beds where one would expect them to be. The beds were Queen size and comfortable. Lifts can be slow though, and the breakfast provided was pretty extensive.. There are no amenities like toothbrush sets in the room, but you can request them from reception.

Great hotel to stay in while in Tainan. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy.At the hotel the breakfast goes on till 14.00 brunch time so if you are jet lag you can still grab a bite. Great hotel to stay in while in Tainan. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy.At the hotel the breakfast goes on till 14.00 brunch time so if you are jet lag you can still grab a bite. But do know choices for Breakfast is mainly asian, selection aren't that many. The other great service they provide are free parking and you can do your laundry at the self service area at the same level as the gym. Over all we had a great time. Hotel is located close to Shennong Street and Hua Yuan Night Market. (Both worth visiting)

“Nice 3 night stay, loved the "BreakSlow", but the carpet needs cleaning/replacing”

We stayed here 3 nights. This hotel was a modern hotel on a main street, although very few taxis go down this particular street, so if you want a taxi, I suggest having the front desk call you one (while we were outside trying to flag a Taxi down, a staff member inside noticed and proactively came out and asked for our trip details, and quickly called a taxi for us). The room was OK but quite small (ours was directly across from the elevators, but we didn’t hear noise from them). Our room had only 2 twin beds in it. There was sufficient space for our 3 large suitcases. The view out the window was completely forgettable (roof areas and backs of other buildings). The bathroom was OK, and had a separate sliding door to the toilet. But the bathroom itself only had a curtain (no door) between the sink area and the main room. And the light in the bathroom sink area shone into the main room from behind the mirror (annoying at night). Worst of all though, were the many stains on the carpet. While not the worst carpet we saw on our trip (we had a clear winner in another hotel), this was a real downer to us. The included breakfast in the first floor restaurant area had numerous hot and cold choices. The hotel calls it BreakSlow, rather than breakfast, which seemed appropriate since it is served from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. (the longest hours I’ve ever seen……and you could make a breakfast and a lunch out of it given the choices available). Choices tasted good. They did rotate dishes (fried eggs the first morning, hard boiled eggs the other two mornings, rotated between chicken nuggets, French fries, and some fried bread item, etc….) They had a station for beef soup made on demand (which I didn’t try….I would have tried if it was beef noodle soup). Could have used more lighting in the cold area in front of the bar. The labeling was sometimes a bit generic (“Korean dishes”). One unexpected and really nice thing at the hotel…..they had absolutely free self serve laundry. Seemed like it was open 24 hours a day. Located on the second floor, near the exercise area. They had 2 washers and 2 dryers (stacked), entry by room key card, complete with free liquid laundry detergent.

“Best bedding set ever!”

Relatively new compared to the nearby hotels. Convenient location and best bedding ever! Reception desk service needs to be improved though, not pleasant attitude and the response is slow. Breakfast is much better than expected!

Although having requested for a room on high floor but I was assigned to a room on low floor. Floor towel was provided upon request and the sheer in the room was missing. The dated dirty carpet as mentioned by previous guest has been replaced by vinyl wood pattern flooring. Bed was comfortable and it was overall clean in the room. There were two bottles of drinks in the fridge and a pack of nuts made complementary to guests. However, the 4pm check-in and 11am check-out policy was indeed unconventional for hotel of this category. Undoubtedly, this was obviously a way to save manpower cost on housekeeping but this has led to inconveniences to guests. Since the size of the breakfast venue was comparable to a coffee shop, so breakfast was served in four sessions until 2pm which was another unconventional aspect in the hospitality industry.
