“Nice visit, great view, excellent breakfast”

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were good sized, and we were happy with our view of the river. The front office staff was very kind and helpful. Additionally the breakfast was excellent! Lots of variety and tasty to boot. I would recommend others to stay here.

This is a fantastic hotel. My room was comfortable, very clean and lots of space. The hotel is conveniently located to the central area of Kaohsiung as well as to the train and bus stations. Equipped with water heater, daily water, slippers, safe deposit box. Offers a laundry room with washing machines and dryers. Wonderfull breakfast with a choice for every diet. Very kind staff.

We did a lot of research into where to stay in Kaohsiung, and I'm glad we settled on Harbour 10. The staff was very helpful, and the ones at the desk spoke English quite well. We did a lot of research into where to stay in Kaohsiung, and I'm glad we settled on Harbour 10. The staff was very helpful, and the ones at the desk spoke English quite well. We needed an extra blanket late at night, and they brought it up to our room in less than two minutes. The rooms were clean and all of the facitlites (bathroom, etc.) worked well. Our room had a beautiful view of the Love River, and its walking trails were easily accessible. While the hotel is quite far from a subway station, a light rail station is right across the bridge (five-minute walk?), and it links to subway stations and can also take you to sites like Dream Mall and other shopping areas, the Pier 2 Art Center, and the British Consulate (or at least in the general area). The breakfast buffet is large, and certain offerings change from day to day, so there's always something different. We also enjoyed the free snacktime the hotel offered from 2:00 to 4:00 PM every day. It was a great way to fill up before going back out to explore the city. There are also restaurants nearby - at least two izakayas and a Thai food place, and the beautiful Rosary Basilica is a short walk away, and there are two 7/11 stores nearby in case you need a late-night snack. Downsides: Our first room was a little dusty, so we had some allergy problems, but the staff moved us to a new, similar room in a jiffy. The TV has Netflix, but it's a pain to set up. It sometimes took us five or 10 minutes to log on and select a movie (I think this is Netflix's problem, not the hotel's). Not much to complain about in the grand scheme of things.

Hotel Harbour 10 is in a great location, with spacious rooms and excellent cleaning staff who were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was okay, and the restaurant staff were helpful and welcoming. The big letdown was the reception staff, particularly one stern lady who greeted us with a blunt "check-in 3pm" and no smile or even "hello". With Taiwan opening up to more international visitors, I'd suggest management work on training reception to be more welcoming. A friendly hello and smile go a long way!
