Stayed here for a 2 nights visit with family. Personally I would have given 3 stars for the hotel due to wear and tear. The furniture and light switches look like they have been through abuse and never refreshed. For example the light switch on the nightstand was completely loose and wouldn't work. The caulk in the shower had extensive mold growth and the in general the bathroom smelled moldy. Same with the first floor of the building, just smell like sewage as soon as you walked in. I raised it to a 4 stars because of the accommodation for kids, who thoroughly enjoyed the roof top go-kart and trains. They also spent hours in the play room on the 5th floor.

Great hotel rooms, well provisioned and very helpful front desk staff. We were especially appreciative of Austin Mei who was very responsive. Great location, though it is not that accessible from the street -- hard for taxis or vans to drop you off at the door and hard to find if you are coming here in a car on your first visit. And if you are thinking of staying here, you should know this hotel caters specifically to families with young children. When we arrived on a Saturday evening there was pandemonium in the lobby with an excess of noisy kids, screaming, running around and doing what young kids do. Some of this noisiness spilled over into the breakfast room in the morning. Though once we were in our room, it was all peaceful. The abundance of restless kids was the only reason for not giving the hotel a five star rating.

“Great facility and location but staff need better training. (not tour bus friendly)”

Our family arrived in a mini tour bus, there were 13 of us. Our bus driver contacted the hotel prior to arrival but was told that there's no place to drop us off. The hotel entrance is located in between a mall and a small park so the only vehicle accessible place for drop off is in the underground… more

Our family arrived in a mini tour bus, there were 13 of us. Our bus driver contacted the hotel prior to arrival but was told that there's no place to drop us off. The hotel entrance is located in between a mall and a small park so the only vehicle accessible place for drop off is in the underground parking garage. Our mini tour bus is too big for the underground path so we were dropped off on the side of the street and walk to the hotel. (which in most case isn't a big deal but we had 2 seniors with limited mobility and it was raining on that day) When we were greeted by the staff on the side of the street, the gentlemen told our bus driver that guests did not call ahead to inform them about arriving in tour bus. SINCE WHEN guests of hotels are OBLIGATED to call ahead to inform hotel about their transportation arrangements? It was very upsetting to hear that from the staff. To be fair, the hotel itself is great. Amazing location with great attention to detail for kids. The only thing that ruined the experience for us was the attitude from the staff that greeted us.
