Well manage hotel with ample sized rooms. The spring baths in and outside the rooms (if u get an upgrade) are a very nice touch. Room size was ample and the beds comfortable. As to be expected, hotel was very clean. Food choices were good though breakfast could be better as choices more limited and not very upscale. Sushi restaurant fine and well priced. The hotel had a kids zone that was well sized, the option to rent remote controls cars the kids could drive was a win. Ping pong tables, services/classes for kids and a gym. Overall a good stay + property. Well located for hiking or kid friendly activities (zoos/farms,) and the night markets. All around 15-25 minutes.

The hotel was very pretty and I liked the in room onsen. The downstairs public onsen was also clean and the outdoor one was tranquil & nice. Being in Yilan the room was big. And the minibar was free. The front desk lady did a good job introducing the hotel. We got there by 5:30 and missed most of the activities. A nice surprise was the live band at the lounge. The female singer was phenomenal. However ... We stayed on a Saturday and there were many many many screaming kids. From what I observed, the parents didn't try to control their kids. At the lounge when the live band was performing, the kids played with the glass doors. While screaming louder than the singer. It got dangerous - not to mention annoying. For dinner, we tried unsuccessfully to enter the Japanese restaurant. They told us it would be a 1.5 hour wait and we were discouraged to wait. We took a look at the chaos at the dinner buffet and the only choice left was the coffee lounge. Where the food was not bad. The breakfast food was average. We stuck with soy milk and congee because they were hotter. Combined with screaming & running kids, breakfast experience was not excellent. Value-wise, at USD 370 it wasn't very good. To be fair, most of our frowns were brought on by other guests.

“Nice resort hotel with fantastic service”

Very nice resort hotel (far) outside of Yilan City. Stayed here for 2 nights back in September and the first thing that stood out was the fantastic service. Very nice resort hotel (far) outside of Yilan City. Stayed here for 2 nights back in September and the first thing that stood out was the fantastic service. Everyone was extremely kind, courteous, professional, and helpful (big shoutout to “Uncle California”). So definitely 6 stars for the service. Our room was nice too. Very spacious with a patio and onsen on the patio. But you can tell that the rooms are probably ready for a first update soon. The latter would also apply to the pool and amenity area - not bad, just need some tender, love, and care. The rest of the resort is great with beautifully designed and very well maintained landscaping. The only thing that was truly bad was the breakfast. Relatively small selection, tiny western selection and both Asian and Western selection simply not tasty. The location of the hotel is interesting, 15-20min drive from Yilan City and Luodong Township, so quite remote - which I loved and was a reason we picked this hotel. Just keep in mind you’ll need a car to get around. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to get away and spend a few days in a resort with fantastic service, in a remote area and doesn’t mind that parts of the hotel need to be updated sooner than later.

First off the staff here were extremely friendly and very helpful and polite! They greeted us upon arrival, they gave us a full tour of the hotel and explained the springs. I did not realize when I booked this property, it’s a little remote and not much around the hotel! The staffed helped booked a famous duck restaurant and arrange transportation as well! I’d give the staff here a 5 out of 5!!!
