The impression that lasted of Yentai for me is the smell of the wood from the lobby to the room. I love the fragrant that comes from the nature. The room is clean and huge. The stay was great! Yentai is very near to the Wenao Zushi Temple Night Market, probably only 5mins walk. There are 24/7 family mart and 7-11 next to the hotel and also a shopping mall across the road. Travelling to most places cost around $100NTS by cab/taxi.

My husband & I stayed 8 nights for Ironman Taiwan. Staff friendly & helpful. Room was spacious good amenities very clean. Would highly recommend. My husband found lots to keep him occupied on Penghu worth a visit

Yentai is a partner hotel of #Ironman Taiwan and we stayed 5 nights at the hotel. Although it is located in the outskirts of the main town, the front desk will happily call a taxi for you and the trip to downtown takes roughly 10 minutes. It is only a ten minute walk away from the #Ironman finish line. The room is spacious with fast (and complimentary) wifi. The free breakfast is also quite filling. Try the Taiwanese breakfast options like the boiled sweet potato, congee with various toppings and the onion & egg pancakes. There are also steamed buns and various hot dishes like sautéed vegetable, noodles and curry chicken. Bathroom amenities were ample (toothbrush, razor, shampoo, bath gel) but lacked lotion. There is no tub. There is a 7-11 right next door and a Japanese restaurant around the corner.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. The room was well equipped with for example a good king size bed, a spacious bathroom with a good shower, all furnitures is made of proper wood, fridge, kettle, flatscreen with plenty of English language channels, etc. No safe though. The breakfast provided had plenty of Asian choice but a bit limited if you are looking for a continental breakfast. The hotel also provide a restaurant option for diner. We used it once for diner as were arrived quite late. We enjoyed but we would recommend to go to the Japanese restaurant 100-150 meters to right when you exit the hotel. The hotel also has a coin operated laundry and provides a shuttle service to/from the airport. The main drawback is the location. It is about 20 mins walking to the harbor where most of boats leave for trips and about 30 mins to the city centre. For independent travelers: this hotel seems to cater mostly for tour groups from Chinese speaking countries. The proficiency in English was lower than expected but was compensated by genuine effort to support. The groups were not an issue for us as they were surprisingly quiet.
