Stayed for 2 nights with family, we booked 4 rooms in total. Location is remote but we have car rental so that's not a problem. The hotel is located on a small hill but not along the coast, some rooms have seaview but not all. Rooms are spacious and cosy but design of some rooms are weird with bathing area next to the bed. Rooms all equipped with speedy wifi and satellite tv which is a plus. Staff with great hospitality and breakfast is delicious with wide range of choices. A good choice if you prefer a vacation home surrounded by tranquility .

“Good place to gaze at Stars”

Stayed there from 27-29th June 2017. We hop on a taxi from Zuoying station in Kaohsiung. Do take note that the cost is around 2500+ TWD from the station and it is advisable to go by meter fare. The journey takes around 2 hours so I would still advise people to take the taxi there instead of the bus which is cheaper but the difference is not too much. At least you are able to reach your destination with your luggage without climbing up the hill which in this case you need if you were to take the Kending express bus. My taxi driver almost missed the entry which was a small road and had to go up a hill. Once I was up the hill it was instantly recognisable as it is the most beautiful hotel over that area. We had the biggest room available for that hotel as we had 3 persons. At first glance the room was very spacious and big. Toilet is also within that area which is also spacious but had a drawback which is why I'm going to give 4 stars. You see for normal hotels, there would be a segregated area for the toilet so that you can't really hear or smell what people are doing in the toilet. Unless of course you are coming with just another person who happens to be your other half else it would be quite embarrassing as you can hear the person taking a dump and it can really smell. For this hotel it only has a partition shares the same area as the bedroom. However it is not that bad as there is still a fan that you can switch on for ventilation. You gotta imagine when one of us takes a dump and the rest of us had to leave the room so that we won't have any aroma therapy. The shower was also something of concern as it was those not mounted on the wall and had to take the shower head and do our showering activities which was quite inconvenient for us. Bed wise it was comfortable, many pillows were available and they provided sufficient water bottles around. They also provided the drying rack as people who comes Kending more or less will do water sports. However for us we did our washing of clothes there and they provided free washing liquid (we had to wash in the huge basin which we bathe as there were no washing machine available which is also one drawback). As the period we went ''twas extremely warm, we managed to dry our clothes within the day of putting it out. As there was a shuttle service every 45 minutes, they drove us to the Kending Food Street where we get our meals and shopping. Their last pickup for the day was at 9.45pm so plenty of time for us to roam around in Kending and still get back on time. We also managed to rent electric bikes there to roam around the area but as our hotel was located at a hill, they arranged with the bike rental vendor to drive us up the hill after returning the bikes back to the shop. Such a wonderful service! Not to forget their breakfast was Super awesome! As we stayed there for 3 days 2 nights, we managed to try almost their entire selection of breakfasts! The staff was also Super friendly when visitors (not guests) wanted to take picture of that area and were even welcomed to take more pictures at the roof which was another excellent place to see stars at night which we did! My friends even managed to see shooting stars! At the last day we opted for in room breakfast which was awesome! No need to change and we cam have breakfast on bed! Woohoo! I would say I might return again but probably just for 1 or 2 nights stay as it is quite inconvenient sometimes to rush for the shuttle service and experience the showering facilities and combined toilet areas. But other than that it is an excellent place to see stars and see the view of the sea.

Nicely located away from the town, while not too far driving to the destinations around. It is located on a small mountain which is hard to find at first, but the view of the sea is wonderful.
