“Great location, fully renovated room and very friendly staff”

Really great location, super close to Kenting street, but far enough to be super quiet Fully renovated and colorful rooms, and spacious. Very friendly staff even if they don´t speak English Parking space available. Breakfast is regular.

We were an unusual visitors as we stayed here for 2 weeks. Our hosts could not do enough for us.Thank you. Good wi fi, a great shower and located just off Kenting Night market street, so a good location but peaceful. It was also handy for the bus stops to other attractions in this area and the bus up to Kaohsuing for the high speed train. Rooms are quite a good size and brightly decorated, but there is a general lack of hanging space (common in this part of the world)! We did suggest that the addition of a room safe would be a good idea as well. Everywhere was kept very clean. English is a minor problem, but huge efforts were made by Janine to overcome this and she is just such fun. Breakfasts are very different, sandwiches and local drinks. But just explain what you would like and they do their best. If you are not into green tea, bring your own. The rooms do not have a kettle...BUT on landing of each floor there is a water dispenser, supplying boiling,tepid and cold water. It worked well. There is hanging room to dry wet clothes on the top floor. Recommended.

We stayed in the deluxe room for three nights. The room was very big, clean and had wonderfull kingsize beds. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even though not everyone spoke English very well, they were always quick to find someone for translation, so we never had language problems. The only thing which was not to our fullest satisfaction was the breakfast: one milk-coffie, one tea (both in taiwanese-style sealed plastic cups) and two sandwiches. It would have been nice if we had a choice between coffe or tea, milk and/or sugar, and for the sandwiches if they are with meat/fish or vegetarian. (It was possible to order different sandwiches for the next mornings). The location was good, very quiet but still near to the main road, and we had a beautifull view onto the national park.

Stayed here in early December last year. It is located at a back alley not far from the main street of Kending (3 minute walk) and is reasonably well appointed with what you would expect from a bed and breakfast of its category. The rooms aren't outstanding, but they were clean and comfortable with a theme to each room courtesy of the landlady. What was great about this place was the recommendations provided by the landlady with regard to touring Kending. For a start, she was able to direct us to great eating establishments in the small town and what was better was the tour guide/driver she suggested. The tour guide suggested is a park ranger and so will make your tour of Kending, its national park and natural surroundings much more interactive and intriguing, particularly if you are interested in geography. It is well worth every cent. There isn't, however, much of a breakfast provided so you will have to pop by the convenience store right around the corner every morning for your breakfast (unless you want to eat sandwiches provided by the landlady every morning). Overall, would say that it is not a bad bed and breakfast in terms of hardware, and it does have excellent software in terms of service provided. Would recommend for Chinese speaking tourists only though, as I doubt that the landlady speaks much English.
