What a treat! This was a genuine B&B with all the bells and whistles. This place offers AAA quality and service. The rooms are elegant and with character. Our hosts were always available should we have needed anything and no request was too much and always flexible. Little things made the difference too such as a complimentary self-laundry service, local tea and coffee, waters, toiletries and plenty of fresh towels. The breakfast was also superb! Beautifully presented every morning with a variety of things to suit anyone's taste. The last day we had to leave early and our hosts even made us bacon and egg rolls to go! They were amazing! There are only a few rooms that offer a seaside view, this which we requested. One or two we saw had a veranda with a direct viewpoint and the other (ours) with a nice view from the corner of the room. Still very pleasant. As we love to soak up the local surroundings often while reading a book and relaxing we would defiantly request the seaside view with the veranda next time. The only downside to this gorgous place is that it's on the other side of Kenting to that of the Main Street/activities. The upside to that downside is you are walking distance away from a quiet little swimming beach with crystal clear waters and a cute little villiage with a few spots to eat and opportunities to hire Kyaks, surf boards etc.) Our hosts make up for this however by offering a shuttle service ($NT100 per pick up or drop off) but ideally I'd recommend hiring a car or scooters. It will make your trip from the HSR to Kenting a lot easier than public transport and then allow you to get around easily and experience all the hot spots (including the harbour with many seafood restaurants to choose from which was certainly a highlight not to be missed!). The taxis are really expensive so don't even bother! Utilise your hosts services. They were always contactable by WeChat and responded immediately! We felt the whole time they were really there to look after us. We will certainly be back (with family next time) and be staying again at the seashore hotel.
