the hotel is terrific. Clean and perfectly cleaned daily. Lots of hot water. All the little things you need. Room with a city view. High speed wifi in the rooms around 70 mbit per sec. A little hard to lower the temp of the powerful air conditioning. Hotel include four free laundry items daily. Put them in a bag and they will be returned cleaned the next day for free. Breakfast is ok. Choices of edible, if uninspired, food. At least it does the job. Friendly staff. All Taiwan hotels are now non smoking.

“Very good business hotel in Taichung”

The hotel is located a bit far from downtown Taichung but very close from a highway exit. We arrived there by a car and the entrance was B1 level and it was a bit tricky to come to the reception area located on the 1st floor. Room was clean and everything was in order. The hotel is located a bit far from downtown Taichung but very close from a highway exit. We arrived there by a car and the entrance was B1 level and it was a bit tricky to come to the reception area located on the 1st floor. Room was clean and everything was in order. Good internet connection. Breakfast was offered at the breakfast hall on the 1st floor but it was very poor in therms of selection and quality of the food. Also, the seats were not enough and unknown Taiwanese lady came to my table to have breakfast together with me without talking anything.

Overall the hotel is a very well equipped and comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and service is friendly. In the immediate area though, there is not much to do unless you are willing to go some distance away. As a result, the hotel restaurant and Coffee Shop are your primary sources of meals. The morning breakfast is well laid out and food is normally quite tasty. Problem though is food is cold. We are not talking about warm or even room temperature, I mean cold. The cold drinks are warm, and the warm food is cold. The restaurant in the evening has a fine, extensive menu and once again, well prepared. I ordered a simple dish and ended up with enough food to feed three people. Problem though, the food was cold. Room temperature at best. So as long as you can eat foods at that temperature, you'll have no problems at this hotel. Sidenote: The hotel provides a massage service in your room or in a room in the hotel. After flying for almost two days, and numerous connections, I was looking for a lower back. While the masseuse was extremely professional, of the 90 minute scheduled event, she spend a total of about 10 minutes on the lower back. Most of the massage was done over towels provided by the hotel which were a little softer than "Grade D" sandpaper. Good towels for drying, not for rubbing up against the skin causing irritation. I called the session about 20 minutes before the end because I could not have continued. And this despite providing specific directions before we started. Maybe it was just the person, but I would not waste my money on this service again.

Check in service was quite fast. Check in staffs can speak moderate English. Check in staffs are helpful when you want to call for a cab or ask for directions. Check in service was quite fast. Check in staffs can speak moderate English. Check in staffs are helpful when you want to call for a cab or ask for directions. They printed me a map when I asked the directions to nearby night market. Room all good. Amenities full. Hot water is strong.. Cleanliness was average. The thing I do not like about my room was that it smelt like cigarettes. I really do not like cigarettes smell as it makes my nose itch. I told the front desk and they said they get someone to fix it, but it was not fixed. Location is quite far away from night market (around 200-250NT by taxi), when considered in Taichung. One of the things I love about this hotel is that they offer complimentary (free) laundry service (4 piece per person per night). All business hotels should follow this. The breakfast taste delicious and they invited their staffs to have breakfast, after guests breakfast hours are finished. I think this is a good way for the staffs to know the quality of the breakfast they serve us with and minimized food waste, which is one of the biggest waste in this world.
