Nice cosy modern hotel. Staff are helpful, warm and are willing to attend to our needs. Hotel is located near the Zhongxiao Xinsheng metro station (a short 5 mins walk) which is on the Blue and Orange Line. It’s 2 stops from Taipei Main Station and 3 stops from Ximen Station, so a good distance from key attractions yet not too crowded. There’s a Yong He Doujiang diagonally opposite the hotel that offers local breakfast at affordable price. Another attraction near the hotel is Huashan Creative Park, a quaint area with shops selling local designers product, loved the park. As for rooms, we had 2 twin rooms and their sizes are good and comfy. Bathroom vanity counter is open to the bed area while the shower and wc are enclosed and separated. Like this design because it makes using the bath easier to use especially when you are rushing to head out. A great hotel to be in and will recommend it.

“Good Location for its price”

We stayed in two different rooms during our visit. The family room, designed for four, was located in the middle of the floor level with no windows and featured bunk beds and personal screens —which the kids loved! However, the space was quite tight, reminding me of a basic cruise ship cabin. We later moved to a standard queen room, which had windows and felt much more spacious—closer to a typical hotel room size. We moved room because my husband had to leave early for work, but it turned out to be a more comfortable option. The hotel’s location is great, with plenty of dining options nearby. My absolute favorite part? The fantastic coffee and cocktail bar right next to the hotel!

“You can sleep well and explorer”

It's an interesting hotel. Free candies, nice decoration, perfect location to visit 1914,... made a wonderful trip to me.

This is a cute hotel, but don't expect anyone to go above and beyond for you. Here are the pros and cons we experienced: Pros: -Fun and funky decor based on a bank that the building was formerly used for -Clean room and comfortable beds -Fast elevators Cons: -All we could find at the free snack bar was very sweet candy or bland crackers. None of the labels were in English, so if you don't speak the language, you just have to let yourself be surprised. -We wanted to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night, but they said it was all booked. We didn't see anyone inside, but maybe they were coming later... -The next night, we had a very long day and rushed to get back to the restaurant before it closed at 9 pm. We got there at 10 minutes to 9. The sign outside said "Open", but when we went in they told us they were already closed. We hadn't eaten all day, and other restaurants were not open because it was the Taiwan New Year. We asked them if we could just get some food to take to our room, and they said no. The front desk suggested Uber Eats or Panda Express, but we were just too tired to try to find a place that was available through these apps, so we ate crackers for dinner. -The breakfast buffet was pretty limited, and especially so for a vegan. I pretty much just ate the fried tofu and french fries. There was some vegan ham, but it tasted like chewy cardboard. The coffee from the coffee machine at the buffet produced a beige shade of hot water. -The coffee offered in the room was a blend of coffee and cream powder, which doesn't work for a vegan. Other people might have a better experience, especially if they book outside of the New Year and/or they speak the language, and if they are not vegan. It just didn't work well for us.
