This was my fourth stay at the Grand Mayfull Hotel. Even though the location is not the most convenient for late night shopping and eating as it’s not in the central area such as Xinyi, we came back to stay here because the room is very comfortable and service is excellent. The room is large and roomy. I love the walk-in wardrobe and layout of the room.. The bathroom facilities are excellent! The bed is super comfy. The housekeeping is of a high standard, an important aspect for me. The housekeeping staff member I had during my stay called Judy kept my room very clean and tidy. Thank you Judy! I appreciate it! The staff is very polite and helpful. They go out of their way to assist and answer our queries. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us! Although the location is a bit far away from where all the action is, we just took taxis everywhere. It was easy to get taxis as the staff will always get one for you. Only thing you do have to bear in mind is to allow more time to get to your dinner reservations etc as traffic may ge a bit slow in certain parts. But if you’re not in a hurry just sit back and relax! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and easy to get!

We were here for 4 nights and had a wonderful and pleasant stay at the hotel. Among many hotels that I have been over the years throughout the world, this hotel is definitely one of the best in many ways. The staff were extremely helpful, and this was done very naturally by all of them. They tried to accommodate and help in every possible way whenever they could with smile in their faces. The room was huge with a separate changing room and looked like it has been recently refurbished. Amenities were excellent and modern. Spotlessly clean! Minibar in the room is refilled daily without charge. Plenty of bottled and tinned water provided which was perfect for the hot weather here. Pillows and mattress were comfortable. The hotel is also disability-friendly (special lowered lift-button etc). The vibe is very relaxed and calm, which is something I look for during our holiday trips. Breakfast had a lot of option; though, limited for us as Muslims. However, the moment they knew about this, they prepared us separate dishes with halal options. The thoughts we felt counted more than the available but limited food. There were free shuttle to the MRT which was helpful whenever we chose for that option. The line goes directly to the Zoo which was excellent for our children. Uber was available with easy access too whenever we need them. Facilities like the gym, children playroom and the pool were modern and very well maintained. Overall, very impressed and will return if we were ever back in Taiwan in the future.

“Outstanding Hotel in every aspect”

If it wasn't for Accor cancelling our hotel booking, 2 weeks before our arrival date, and leaving us completely in the lurch, we never would have found this wonderful hotel. If it wasn't for Accor cancelling our hotel booking, 2 weeks before our arrival date, and leaving us completely in the lurch, we never would have found this wonderful hotel. This hotel is just magnificent, see the photos of the grand foyer and the rooms. I would say the rooms were around 50sq meters. High ceilings, separate walk-in wardrobe and a large bathroom. Several wonderful restaurants, except the Michelin Stared Restaurant, which it was definitely not. Great pool and lounge chair area, but you were not allowed food or drink, go figure. There is a great gym, don't think the equipment ever had much use. And a sauna somewhere. The staff were brilliant. So eager to help with our sightseeing and transport. The hotel, like the surrounding areas was spotless. It's in a very good area, only a short taxi ride into the city.

“Five star rooms, three star service”

This hotel has absolutely gorgeous rooms, very comfortable with great bathrooms. The air conditioning works well, beds are large and comfortable and the smart TVs are good. This hotel has absolutely gorgeous rooms, very comfortable with great bathrooms. The air conditioning works well, beds are large and comfortable and the smart TVs are good. Unfortunately the service is not five star, the bar is shut on Sundays - we were looking forward to a drink and people watching and told the only option was room service. The room service menu is limited and the staff aren’t inclined to solve problems. It’s a shame that two blocks over the Marriott is everything this hotel is not and, much as I’d like to stay here again, I’d definitely stay at the Marriott the next time.
