“Good stay, but could have been better”
Great budget hotel. Location is great, near the main Taipei station and walking distance to Ximending. Plenty of food around the area. Room was large, so was the shower area. Only complaint would be that the rooms were very dim. Brighter lights would be good.

This hotel has had some bad reviews and good ones. I think it's a good hotel for the location, pricing point and where it gets you close to. It's a 10 min walk to Ximending. The location is good for exploring much of Taipei on foot. Our room was extremely small and cramped and as result it was not conducive to spending much time there. “Average hotel, past its glory days.”
Average hotel. Old and worn down, could be called past glory. Breakfast is okay but when they are out of something they do not refill. So go eat early if you want eggs.
