We stayed for 3 nights here and find the hotel very clean & quiet. The rooms are good size and we are given the top floor room facing the main street, which is light and airy (although there's not much view). The reception is almost self service and rarely have anyone behind the desk. But their office is just round the corner & the staff were always willing to help. The room is quite a good size for Taiwan, and the bathroom was spacious with Japanese electronic seat (mind the temperature setting for the loo seat, someone set it on high & its like having your bum grilled). The room came with free breakfast which come in set menu of Western or Chinese Dim Sum, you can also help your self with free drinks & toast on the self service counter. The only issue for us is the hotel is a bit far from the nearest Metro station, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to The Little Egg station. But there's plenty of buses just in front of the hotel, which is easy to use if you know where to go. The hotel is very close to the SungShan Art District, about 10 minutes walk & not far from the SunYatSan Memorial Hall. Generally we had a nice stay at this little local hotel, nothing too fancy but well run. Will definitely return & stay again.

First, a note for Tripadvisor. This place is called "Green World Triple Beds", not just "Triple Beds". That's why it's impossible to find, and why there are only three reviews. You might want to change this. We chose this hotel - in spite of not finding any Tripadvisor reviews - because it was a cheap option for one adult and two children. We got a "twin room with sofa bed", as this was much cheaper than a "triple room". The sofa bed was just as comfortable as the beds. We got in quite late. The place is set up for self check-in on computers, but when the staff saw me stagger in with two tired children late at night, they immediately rushed in to do everything for me. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The girls were particularly impressed by the robot bellboy. To be honest, it's more of a faff than carrying your luggage yourself, but it was fun, and the kids thought it was really cool. The room itself was basic, but very clean. I'd have liked a fridge - that would be my only real criticism of the room. The location is pretty good - it's in Eastern Taipei and is convenient for Taipei 101, which is about 5 minutes away in a taxi. Shida night market is about 10 minutes away by taxi. There are a lot of restaurants down the alley near the hotel, but they were all closed by the time we got there at 10:30, so we had to find snacks in Family Mart. There's a Family Mart, a Circle K and a 7-Eleven within about two minutes' walk. There's an excellent mantou (steamed bun) shop next door which opens very early. Bade Road is a major road, and it's easy to get a taxi from outside the hotel. We left one bag when we got in the taxi on the way to the airport, and as the taxi driver did a U-turn, one of the receptionists ran across the road in a death-defying manner to stop the taxi and hand us the bag. This was very kind and very quick-witted.

My family stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to Taipei. We all agreed that it is a great place to stay. Some of the reasons we liked the place include: 1. Rooms are large, clean, beds comfortable and with all the basic amenities a traveler would normally ask for such as in-room safe, bath/shower, mini-fridge (empty so you can stock up on your own beverages), electric kettle, complimentary bottled water and tea/coffee. 2. Despite having a room that faced the main road, we were pleasantly surprised that our rooms were adequately sound proofed, and traffic noise was not an issue. 3. Access by public bus was easy, and by MRT slightly less so (the nearest station, Nanjing Sanmin, is about a 10-15 min walk away). 4. Two convenience stores and a 24-hour supermarket within easy walking distance (from the hotel lobby, turn right and walk a few minutes; you'll come across them in no time). 5. Great (local) breakfast options abound - just ask the hotel staff to give you directions. In particular, there is a shop next to the nearby post office that sells delicious dumplings, and another one across the road from the bus stop at the Taipei Veterans Service Centre that sells delicious baos. 6. The rooms are equipped with sockets that can take any plug from any country in the world, so if you forget to bring an adapter you needn't worry. They also have a couple of USB ports to charge mobile phones etc although not all appear to be working properly. The kids complained that ports in their room didn't work while those in mine were fine. Other points to note: 1. The in room TV has many channels but most of them are in Mandarin. The few English channels are CNN (the only news channel), a few Discovery channels, and movie channels such as HBO, Fox, Cinemax. 2. The hotel changed our bath towels every day which I felt was unnecessary. 3. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, and personally while I felt that it would've been adequate I wasn't really impressed by the spread. Besides the usual cooked items eg bacon/ham/sausages they had cereal, a couple of fruit juices, and bread. 4. There is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer available for guests' use (NT$70 for the washer and NT$80 for the dryer; accepts only NT$10 coins; hotel can provide change). You can purchase a packet of liquid detergent for NT$10 from the hotel lobby. Getting there is a bit tricky - take the lift to level 2, turn right and go through two emergency exit doors. At the emergency exit stairwell after the second door the laundry room is on the right.
