I was devastated by the negative reviews of the hotel after i booked so we decided to ask for change of dates which was granted by the hotel, instead of 4days we just stayed overnight. But it was not bad just in other reviews, the staff although at first glance is snob and does.not talk much is a kind and helpful lady..we were allowed to check in before 2pm though in their websote its 3pm. The family room was spacious and nice and same with the triple room. The bed was nice and the toilet was clean. Food was not bad though there was few choices, location was good near reataurants and commercial area in a major street..the only problem was the price, i think it was a bit too high. Totally, it was not bad at all like other reviews here.

The reviews are quite balanced as the photos are indicative of a standard 3 star but it's the surroundings that make you feel otherwise. Starting with the narrow entrance into a reception area where furniture looks patched together. Check-in staff was polite and efficient. The lift takes an age to arrive and I can see the emergency stairs are used as normal access, which should tell you quite a bit. The room was comfortable but so dusty. You can't see it but you can feel it. I got the impression that they earned the three stars by providing fridge and bath tub. The sheets had stains that looked like coolant patches but they felt comfortable and made me wonder if they bought them used from Marriott. There was also an incessant clicking in the room like a lightbulb that was trying to connect. Usual amenities provided but shower gel and shampoo were in a disposable pouch. Breakfast is in the top floor accessed through the emergency stairs from 8 floor. I thought food quality was decent and fresh , but the ambience is like a factory staff canteen. I did not try the coffee. Location was good and a Starbucks was round the corner. It's OK for the price and if you usually stay in youth hostels

I travel to the area for work constantly and stayed at this hotel a few times when other hotels were sold out. Let me be upfront, the 3 star rating I gave is very generous and only because of the nice manager that took care of my issues. 1) Staff are some of the snobbiest and most unfriendly people I have ever met. I was told by the manager that they are decades-long long time employees and probably lost the love for their jobs, and that countless of customers complained about their attitude and refusal to listen. 2) Rooms are not very clean - dust and dust balls everywhere and on every surface. I once use a wet paper towel to wipe the table and it turned nearly black. Disposable slipper turns black on the bottom after just 2 nights of light use. 3) Rooms fixtures are in poor condition - non-working lights, dim dying lights, non-working power outlets, and leaking faucets are common here... 4) Internet is very poor here - the posted passwords don't work on some of the WiFi routers, even if you manage to connect, the speed is slow and connection very unreliable. They recently rolled out a new Internet router through their IP TV service, but that Internet connection blocks VPN and certain commonly used ports. It's very business traveler unfriendly. 5) Breakfast is buffet style but don't have a lot of varieties. There are 4 hot items which they rotate through with random dishes, mostly non-meat dishes which is actually healthy. They are more of home-cooking using every day item instead of hotel or restaurant quality. Will I use this place again - Yes, when other hotels are sold out. Will I consider this place top choice, absolutely not.
