Les Suites Taipei is a charming boutique hotel with a warm, intimate feel, almost like staying in a friend’s oriental-themed mansion. The furnishings are cozy and tastefully done, with lovely oriental touches and parquet flooring in the rooms. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. That said, the lighting is a major drawback, especially for women. The room lighting is very dim and not practical - putting on makeup was difficult due to the lack of proper, well-placed lighting. This is something that could be easily improved and would make a big difference to the guest experience. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean, and the bathroom amenities were thoughtful, including items like plasters and dental floss, which were appreciated. There is some confusion around the complimentary beverages. This should be clarified more clearly on the reservation portal or booking platforms. Complimentary beverages are only available during cocktail hour from 5pm to 7pm daily. Outside of this window, water, tea, and the coffee machine are available throughout the day. Hors d’oeuvres are served during cocktail hours — decent but nothing extraordinary. It would be helpful if food labels were provided, and warmers used, as most items (including breakfast) were served at room temperature when they are typically expected to be hot. At times, it was also unclear what certain dishes were. Staff were generally good and helpful, with a special mention to Shawn of Front Office, who stood out for his service and friendliness. Good location. Overall, a pleasant stay with strong character and service, but improvements in lighting, food presentation, and clarity of inclusions would elevate the experience significantly.

I’ll start off by saying that it was a wonderful stay that was fully worth the price and you will not find value for money like this at any other hotel in Taipei. The rooms in the hotel are thoughtfully crafted so you’ll want for nothing when you stay, from the amenities to the layout of the rooms themselves. The beds are also comfortable and we slept well even with the jet lag (we are from the US). On top of that, the hotel has free breakfast and happy hour at 5pm. Though I’d say the best part of the trip was honestly the staff. Alex and Kyoko were phenomenal- Wonderful and so attentive to our wants and needs. We didn’t want to leave on our last day! My fiance and I had a 5 day booking at Les suites and the location was also hard to beat. Hotel was also extremely clean and impeccable lobby and sitting area. Very central and close to train station for day trips.

Les Suites Taipei Qingcheng boasts an unbeatable location, almost directly connected to Nanjing Fuxing MRT station. Convenience stores, eateries, cafes, and small malls nearby offer plenty of dining and shopping choices. The room is spacious and comfy, though showing some wear. Due to nearby construction, it’s smart to request a room away from the work site to avoid noise. The 5-7pm happy hour is fantastic, with top-notch complimentary food—a thoughtful touch, especially in hot weather. Breakfast buffet is also very good, with cozy ambiance and fresh options like yogurt, fruits, and juice. Service from concierge and reception is friendly and helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable stay at Les Suites Qingcheng—highly recommended!

It is a great hotel overall. Design is practical and elegant. My room comes with a Japanese style bath tub which is very pleasant to have. Given the unbeatable location, it is a great city hotel. Only two suggestions to the hotel: 1. The lift area is very dark which is not very welcoming 2. The breakfast closing time is 10, though hotel guests were still getting some fruit at 10.01 the staff are ignoring them and keep putting all the food away which made the vibe unpleasant. Rule is rule but guest are guests too. It was just 10.01...Minor area to improve to show more hospitality. Thanks Les suites the most for the location and the outdoor smoke/tea area.
