My sister and I stayed for five nights at Miramar Garden Taipei, and our experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was impressively spacious, very clean, and quiet which made for very restful nights. The bathroom was also a highlight, offering a comfortable layout with modern features that added to the overall convenience and comfort of our stay. Housekeeping maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout. The breakfast buffet was another positive aspect of our stay, featuring a well-balanced mix of Asian and Western options. Everything was fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, making it a great way to start each day. What truly stood out, however, was the service. The staff were extremely professional, consistently friendly, and always willing to help with any request. Their strong English proficiency made communication smooth and easy, which is especially valuable for international travelers. I would also like to extend special recognition to Mr. Alan Li, the Duty Manager, whose exceptional assistance truly elevated our experience. During our stay at Miramar Garden Hotel in Taipei, we attempted to book a two-night hotel stay in Tainan through what we believed was an official hotel website. However, after confirming the booking, the final price unexpectedly increased by approximately 35% due to undisclosed fees, listed as Resort Fee which we never saw from Expedia or Booking. Immediately, we realized the contact information provided did not appear to belong to the hotel. When we tried to call the number listed, no one answered. Within minutes of canceling, we were charged a cancellation fee of $149, and both the original charge and cancellation fee were already posted to our credit card. Calling our Credit Card Customer service was not helpful. The situation became quite stressful, raising concerns that it might have been a third-party scam leading me to ask to freeze my credit card. The following morning, we approached the front desk at Miramar Garden Taipei and happened to speak with Mr. Alan Li. After carefully listening to our situation, he kindly offered to contact the hotel in Tainan directly on our behalf. Within just a few minutes, he was able to clarify the situation and informed us that the hotel had agreed to waive the cancellation fee. As promised, we received confirmation via email within a few hours and the charges were credited back to my credit card website within days. We are incredibly grateful for Mr. Li’s professionalism, initiative, and genuine willingness to help during a situation where we felt we had no support in a foreign country. His actions reflect a truly high standard of customer service. While all the staff we encountered at the hotel were friendly and helpful, Mr. Alan Li stood out for going above and beyond. Miramar Garden Taipei is very fortunate to have him on their team, and we deeply appreciate his outstanding service. Room 5/5 Service. 5/5 Location 4.5/5 Require about 5 minutes walk to Train station but Hotel offers excellent shuttle service. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and we strongly recommend this hotel to others visiting Taipei. We surely will come back.

“Superb customer Service at the front desk and great mngement.”

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating and flexible. I feel safe to leave my daughter for them to call a taxi for her using their money, so I can return the fare later. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating and flexible. I feel safe to leave my daughter for them to call a taxi for her using their money, so I can return the fare later. A shoutout to the manager Henry, who quickly fixed the lightings issue in my room let us borrow the phone charger and a makeup mirror. I could even borrow a yoga mat which none other hotels have let me. The customer service makes up the cons that it is a bit walk to the MRT. But the hotel shuttle is at its best to take the tenants to MRT. The breakfast quality, though, could use more varieties and better quality to match the customer services.

Property is located in city central which commuting around to different area is pretty convenient though there is no train or bus station nearby. Hotel offers a shuttle bus to the nearest train station at intervals though. Booked a triple room which comes with three single bed, overall room is spacious which nicely fits and still with some walking space. Bathroom is decently sized too with auto toilets though the toilet bowl feels very small compared to usual ones. Amenities are great with gym, swimming pool and also a gender differentiated hot spa and sauna/steam room. All amenities are complimentary to guest though not 24hours. Great for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast is decent with both local and international spread. There are not much convenience store or eateries within immediate vicinity so expect minimally a 3 minutes walk to the nearest one. Overall a good stay if you are not heavily reliant on public transports.

I stayed during the New Year holiday, and the pricing remained relatively reasonable compared to typical peak-season increases. Check-in was smooth and efficient, partly because there weren’t too many travellers at that time. The hotel is about a 5–10 minute walk from the nearest MRT station. For those who prefer not to walk, a complimentary shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes, which is very convenient. The room size is a major highlight. Compared to other Taipei hotels within a similar price range, it feels noticeably larger and more spacious. The double bed is generous in size, offering great comfort. The minibar includes snacks, Coke, tea, and coffee, which is a thoughtful addition. The bathroom is well equipped with a bathtub, hairdryer, and a smart toilet, adding a modern touch to the stay. The hotel provides facilities that are not always common in Taipei city hotels, including a sauna, which is a great bonus. There is also a swimming pool, on-site restaurant, and a self-laundry room, making it suitable for both short and extended stays. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful throughout the stay.
