Pros: --Rooms are spacious, bright, and minimal. --Wide array of amenities ranging from a full shoeshine drawer to wireless charging, bluetooth speaker, personal AI assistant, a selection of room fragrances, toiletries, coffee machine, bottled water and free mini-bar. Cons: --Housekeeping is not too responsive -- 90 minutes with a "Please make up room" sign on wasn't enough to get the room cleaned, so tell reception when heading out if you'd like your room made up immediately. Request for a different pillow wasn't fulfilled until the next day upon re-request . Also, the carpet has a weird greasy/tacky feel. --Hallway/door noise is quite loud and other people's phone alarms/vibration was very audible. Suggestions: --Upon checkin they have a staff member give you an "orientation" of all the room features. Management should have the staff remove their shoes when they come into the room.

“Cozy!”

My and my sister stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our trip. The hotel is so cozy and relaxing!! Room are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly here. FREE mini bar and breakfast is one of the plus point. I’m definitely coming back in the future!

We stayed at this hotel as a family 3 years ago before the pandemic and it was a 5 star experience. The staff is so professional and nothing was too much to ask. In the post-pandemic era, we were not sure if they still maintain their high standards but decided to book it again anyway. This time it was a solo trip. I emailed the hotel with some questions and the response was w/in a nanosecond! The breakfast is as awesome as I remember. Everything is simply perfect. The price is very competitive for all the services they provide, especially the delicious breakfast. We will not stay anywhere else whenever we are back in Taipei. Please note they have multiple locations and this is the one in Da'an District.

Swiio Hotel Da'an may look a little bit strange from the outside but inside the modern white walls there's a little gem. My room was spacious and furnished with modern light colors. You could open and close the curtains with just pressing the buttons by the bed. A smart alarm clock and an B&O loudspeaker, not to mention an electronic toilet seat to make my stay an enjoyable one. I also have to mention the free minibar (incl. beer, soft drings, water, snacks) which was filled every day. The neighborhood around the hotel isn't exactly nice looking but there are many decent restaurants & cafes nearby and you can reach the nearest metro station by foot in 10 minutes. If there's one thing that was slightly disappointing for me - the breakfast. Having read some earlier reviews I wasn't expecting a full Asian breakfast buffet but still I would have liked more variation and, you know, more of things to eat! You basically get to choose one warm dish from a menu and served healthy juices & smoothies and pieces of bread on a wooden board as well as a cup of yoghurt, coffee and tea (please add green tea to your selection!). Although the breakfast (as well as many other things about Swiio Hotel Da'an) is highly instagrammable and the warm dishes were quite tasty I wasn't entirely happy with it. There is a small fitness room in the 8th floor of the hotel which I used a couple of times. What I really liked about that room though were the washing machine and the dryer which can be used by all hotel guests. I would like to give extra thanks to the young and helpful staff, most of whom speak excellent English. I even got some skin care products as a gift when leaving the hotel!
