This is my first time staying at Radium Kagaya International Hotel with my family. Despite some less-than-favorable reviews in the past, I decided to give it a try and book a stay. To my pleasant surprise, the hospitality of the staff was excellent. We had to reschedule our pickup time multiple times, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient and accommodating with our requests. We visited over the weekend and noticed many guests around the hotel, which added to the lively atmosphere. Both the breakfast and the public and in-room onsens were great. My family had a wonderful time throughout our stay. I’d like to take a moment to specifically commend one staff member, 李易鴻. He went above and beyond by providing us with his personal mobile hotspot for two hours so my son could attend his Zoom class, as the Wi-Fi reception was poor at that time. We were deeply grateful for his kind and thoughtful gesture, which truly reflected excellent service. We enjoyed a nice two night stay at Radium Kagaya with our baby. The hotel staff were very good at making our stay comfortable with a young baby. They provided amenities in the room, a steriliser, a bathtub, and the meals in the restaurant were tailored. We had the executive suite which meant our daughter could sleep in the bedroom while we stayed in the living room. This was a good idea in principle, but actually a lot of sound and light travels from the living room to the bedroom (the separation is only a screen divider, not an actual wall). So you can't keep the light on in the living room without it being very bright in the bedroom. So once our daughter was in bed, we had to sit in the living room in silence and darkness unfortunately. For part of that time it is possible to sit in the private Onsen. The food in the restaurant is very good, although can be repetitive. We decided to have lunch in the restaurant too, since they accommodated baby very well. It just means that we had the same meal 3 times, with some small variation. Perhaps the dinner set it best for those who stay 1 night, or 2 nights MAX.

Agreed to the opinion from another reviewer, the best day of this hotel is truly long gone. Stayed in this hotel when it was first opened, and it truly stood out even comparing to villa 32 and grand view villa. But this time the experience was truly disappointing. 1. Butler’s room introduction was long and tedious, 20 minutes was spent on introducing the room when we checked in in the evening. 2. Moldly smell in guest room toilet. Probably because of the humidity and poor ventilation, and even the Kleenex straight out of the wooden box smells moldly. 3. Neglect customer safety. I had breakfast in the morning and there was a broken curb. The curb surrounding the vegetation was broken, and the original part and the floor were in the same colour. There was no sign or any kind of warning. I tripped over and almost fell flat on the ground. And most outrageously the waiting staffs next to me ignored my mishap and only focused on talking to other guests. Only after 15 minutes one of the chief waitress came over to ask if I was alright. I didn’t know what kind of hospitality it is. But I definitely will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and readers on TripAdvisor. Anyway, I doubt they care about this review as I don’t see them replying the latest comments on TripAdvisor. Just want to let the readers know not to waste money here.
