Location is a bit off the main street and may be confusing to taxi drivers if they don't know the area. However once you know where you are it's very convenient. About 10-15 minute walk to Taipei MRT Xin Tian Gong station. The best thing about the location is that it's located by a 5-10 minute walk to bus stations that you can take airport buses to TPE Taoyuan airport. There are two or three bus companies that stop here I think, so frequency is good, about 15 minutes per bus during peak hours. The stop is right next to the side of Xin Tian Gong, so very close to this popular Taipei tourist attraction as well. Taipei is a smaller city than most Asian metropolises, so taxi is convenient and very cheap to get around. This hotel can be considered centrally located to most of Taipei city, which means under 200 NTD ($7 USD) to get around anywhere in Taipei city, unless to the very far flung corners. The hotel is an older hotel refurbished. The refurb was pretty good, and the rooms have modern furniture and decorations. Good sized rooms for an older hotel in Taipei. Breakfast is included, but pretty standard or even substandard. If you are okay with a Chinese/Taiwanese breakfast, it's not too bad with the standard porridge and accompaniments, but not too much Western selections if that's what you absolutely need. The hotel is small, so the corridors are small and twisty. If there's a Mainland China tour group that day, you may hear their squawks in the hallway in the early mornings. That's just a fact of life these days with almost anywhere in the world, the Mainland China tourists. Service is standard budget Taiwan hotel service, meaning they're not going to wow you with anything special or make you feel great with their smiles, but they'll treat you much better than Mainland Chinese establishments would. It's efficient, I guess is what I should say. Doorman will help with luggage if he's feeling up to it or if you ask. Overall excellent for the price and well appointed rooms with decent location.

“Nice hotel”

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good for night markets and the subway. Neither the pool or fitness center was available which hurt their overall rating. Overall due to the lack of a fitness center, Id stay in a different hotel.

This is my budget get away. I am desperately need to getaway from he office after log tiring project. i havent got time to prepare or study about the hotel nor the location and taiwan it self..i book it just 1 day before the departure.. After arrival...the staff is very welcoming and politely greet me..they are the key of the hotel. The room is just ok for me to seep..the tv is like my pc monitor, the location iw far awqy from the major attraction or hotspot. Not sure will come again or not..
