This hotel is located next to Chang Gung memorial Hospital MRT. When you exit the MRT , turn left to enter the Global mall, then turn left again to head towards MUJI and the lift entrance is opposite MUJI. Lobby reception is on the 5th floor. The airport express train costs NT$70 from Taipei main station and $50 to airport from the hotel. Taxi to the Mitsui outlet mall costs NT120. Do ask the receptionist to book one for you. The hotel is situated above the mall which has many restaurants including a Singapore Malaysian eatery selling nasi lemak! Try the delicious pork and vegetable buns at NT20. Also many bakeries there. We booked two rooms . The rooms are huge with twin beds , a huge bathtub and bathroom , working desk and wardrobe. Simple Yukatas are supplied , so are two bottles of water , a can of COKE , energy drink and also a basket comprising of snacks like chocopie , potato chips. There is an onsen though no hairbrush is supplied so remember to bring a comb from the room. Wifi is fast , water pressure good and beds are very comfortable. Room temperature cannot be controlled though. Breakfast has an adequate selection of western and taiwanese food . All in all a good stay.

“Wonderful Home away from home mid-long term stay”

My family stayed in Fullon A8 since October 2021 for 3 months. This is our 3rd time staying in this hotel. The hotel personnel are excellent in their hospitality. My family stayed in Fullon A8 since October 2021 for 3 months. This is our 3rd time staying in this hotel. The hotel personnel are excellent in their hospitality. They are ever willing to help and attend to our enquiries and safety. Hotel food are of good quality as well. Excellent business lounge for one to relax and unwind too. Excellent location with a mall , supermarket and train station . Thanking the hotel staff for making us feel at home here. Highly recommended.

“Comfortable rooms, confusing entrance”

The hotel is on the Chung Guan Memerial Hospital MRT stop from the airport. However, coming out of the MRT, there are signs to the hotel that never seem to get you anywhere. You have to follow the signs take the lift marked “Arts Centre” go up to the 5th floor for reception. There is a mall attached to the hotel but nothing much around except the Chung Guan hospital. The room is spacious and clean. There are 3 cans of complimentary soft drinks that are replenished daily. The toiletries however, seem not to be replaced daily. Breakfast was a reasonable spread but the same daily. Quality ok. Only stay here if you need to be in the area. It is a 30 minute ride into town, then you have to get on the local underground to get further into town for the sights. So definitely not convenient for tourists.

What sets this hotel apart: If you are looking for a convenient place to stay along the border of New Taipei City and Taoyuan with easy access to public transportation such as bus and subway (MRT), Taoyuan International Airport (the main/biggest airport in Taiwan), and abundant restaurant choices, then this is a great candidate. Positives: - Location: 1) Right next to Taoyuan Airport MRT (Subway), literally attached to it, in the same building, with right access on the second floor. It's three stops away. 2) 40 minutes ride to Taipei Main Station - the heart of Taipei (Capital of Taiwan) 3) Across street from one of the most famous hospitals in Taiwan: Chang Gung Hospital. Convenient for healthcare workers receiving and giving trainings, attending seminars at the hospital. 4) Five minutes' walk to Linkou Bus Terminal, which is the main bus terminal that will take you to other parts of Taoyuan as well as other cities in Taiwan 5) Restaurants, street foods all within minutes walking distance. There is a food court on the second floor as well. The food court is called "Global Mall" which is a shopping center chain in Taiwan. - More bang for the buck: you get more space with the same price compared to that of Taipei or New Taipei City, and still close enough to travel to these two main cities in Taiwan. - Accommodating: Asked for a quieter room because I am a light sleeper, they honored my request. - Flexible: The staff of this hotel is open-minded in hearing suggestions: (See item #3 under negatives category below) - The staff of this hotel are professional, courteous, and polite - The breakfast crew were accommodating and flexible. When missed the breakfast by 3 minutes due to longer than expected conversation with the hotel staff on hot shower temperature and removing unnecessary beds from the room, I missed the breakfast. The restaurant crew showed no signs of complain or frustration. Instead, they managed to bring out dishes they just stored/took away for me to take so I could have breakfast without compromising quality and freshness of the food. - Housekeeping team was efficient: they were able to remove two other beds (never were what I asked for, it was given to me unvoluntary) per my request and clean the room at the same time within 30 minutes. Negatives: - The car unloading/loading area for taxi or vehicle is far from the main entrance on the ground level/street level. You must 10 feet, then climb several steps or a handicap ramp to enter the building. And there is no concierge service even though there is a concierge desk. There is a parking garage underneath where you can park the car right next to an entrance to unload/load, but you must pay the parking fee. It may not be easy for guests who have multiple pieces of heavy luggage. In addition, it's off a busy street, at the corner, so taxi or private vehicles can't park too long there either. - They missed doing the essentials well even though they provided more other stuff. They missed providing a clean bed (a hair found on the bed's linen) and three obvious stains found on the bed of a room they changed me to. So had to change two rooms in order to get a clean bed. The third room provided two more beds which is what I don't need, all I needed is one bed, one clean bed. Hot shower temperature not hot enough, only warm. Stayed for two nights and still did not solve it, still unresolved. They sent a maintenance person to look at it but never gotten back to me about it, and the temperature did not get hotter. - Unlike most hotels where luggage racks are abundant in inventory/supply, they don't have enough when they are in high demand. I asked for two more and they weren't able to provide. I then offer an alternative suggestion, which they took it so the issue was resolved. The staff of this hotel is open-minded in hearing suggestions. - Inconsistent in check-in requirements: In January 2023, when requesting customized check-in requirements, they first agreed over the phone but refused to honor when I arrived at the front desk. A month later, they chose to honor the same customized request. One negative, one positive, a wash, which is inconsistent. Would have been better by acting consistently. Afterall, consistency is a way to build trust. - Expedia VIP package honored - Their VIP lounge amenities is great with snacks, tea, coffee, magazines (English and Chinese), newspaper available for guests to enjoy - Clean common space, elevator, and hallway Comments: - Unlike Les Suites in Taipei, the hotel I stayed right before this hotel where it did the essentials super well, then added more "surprises" to enhance the experience; this hotel did the opposite, tried to be provided "more nonessentials" and they are not always what I needed. Through this experience, I learned that no matter how well a hotel does in "non-essential" categories, when it misses the essential, it negatively impacts the entire experience. These essentials are non-compromise-able, non-negotiables, which compromises 70 to 80% of overall customer's satisfaction. The other non-essential takes the remaining 30-20%. The experience with this particular hotel felt like I was forced to compromise the essential/the non-negotiables. When a person is forced to compromise the essentials/non-negotiables, most likely you are creating a negative experience for this person by forcing them accept things they can't accept or compromise, because these non-negotiables are so important them, and it's part of who they are. A better and more effective approach is do well on the non-negotiables, don't miss the mark, then build upon it. People varies on non-negotiables, a hotel that can identify that and customize their services accordingly have higher likelihood of outperforming their competitors. - It's right across street from a major hospital, can be noisy with ambulances, but not as noisy as I thought it would be. - Neighbors and people there made intentional and collective effort to keep their neighborhood at night quiet for residents and hotels guests. Overall, it's a 4 out of 5. This hotel would have earned a 4.5 out of 5 or even higher score had they not miss the mark on the "non-negotiables." Nevertheless, this place is still a good place to stay.
