The hotel is perfectly located, just a short distance from the BST and only a 15-minute walk to Terminal 21, making it ideal for exploring Bangkok. The staff are absolutely fantastic, with nothing ever being too much trouble. Their service really made our stay feel special. Food and drink throughout were excellent, and breakfast in particular stood out with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. We stayed for five nights, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore the city while still enjoying everything the hotel has to offer. If you're looking for a nearby rooftop bar, I’d definitely recommend Above Eleven (short 15 mins walk) it’s brilliant, with reasonably priced food and drinks and a great atmosphere.

We had a really pleasant stay at Ad Lib Hotel. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and professional throughout our visit, which made the whole experience even better. The service was consistently great, and everyone made us feel very welcome. Our room was kept very clean every day, and we appreciated the little touches like the complimentary bottled water being replenished daily. It made the stay feel comfortable and well taken care of. The ambiance of the hotel was also really nice. Even though it’s located in the middle of the city, it still feels cozy and relaxing because of all the trees and greenery around the property. It was surprisingly not noisy at all, which made the stay even more peaceful. The food was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, especially considering the excellent service, comfortable atmosphere, and overall experience. Would definitely recommend Ad Lib Hotel for anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing stay in the city.

What a lovely little fresh garden in the middle of the city! I would say with the kind of small boutique-style a very solid 4-star establishment with excellent value for the money. The first impression is really nice as the entrance is under a very big tree. Kind of surprising sight in the concrete environment. A massive wooden door leads you to the nice lobby/restaurant area. Later you might realise how conveniently and well thought this building has been built, all the common areas in the center and the guest wings within the same short distance to the pool/gym and the restaurant/bar. Also everything is very green and fresh. There are plants everywhere and it makes you feel like you're somewhere else than in the "shadow" of city buildings. By the way there's not much shadows really so if you're looking for a good pool time, the sun shines there practically all day. I didn't try the restaurant except for the breakfast and I have to say it was really god. The croissants reveal the truth right away about the breakfast and I'm usually dissapointed but not hear. Soft, fresh and not greasy. Everything else was really good as well. Rooms are kind of basic in that sense that they do not offer any big surprises, but then again everything worked there really well and it was fresh and clean looking. Comfortable bed, safe deposit box available, good fridge without the useless minibar stuff inside and nice little sofa/table/chair area. Bathroom was convenient. I didn't hear any street noises nor anything else in the room. Maybe I was just lucky or the hotel wasn't full, anyway I had to change the previous hotel for excessive noise so this was pure heaven for me. Service wise, the staff was really friendly and greeted always. Some small language barrier at times but nothing too bad. You can also ask for a "buggy" ride to the main street to save maybe a five minute walk. I recommend reserving directly from the hotel page instead of booking etc. You propably get a better price and some membership perks like a drink coupon etc.
