“Good stay”

Good location, not too family environment outside due to huge number of massage parlours and pubs. Room size was okay without any balcony. Breakfast was good. Staff by name “Ya” was awesome.

PARKROYAL Suites Bangkok sits in an interesting position - it's a solid, practical hotel that delivers on the basics but shows its age in places. What struck me most during my stay was how the property manages to feel like a quiet sanctuary despite being steps away from one of Bangkok's busiest nightlife districts. The location on Sukhumvit Soi 6 puts you right in the heart of Nana, which means incredible convenience for getting around Bangkok via the BTS, but also means you're essentially staying behind the infamous Nana Plaza. The hotel makes this work by sitting slightly back from the main action - you get the location benefits without the noise bleeding into your room. The property feels decidedly dated in its décor and some facilities, but the spacious suite-style rooms with full kitchenettes and in-room washers make it genuinely appealing for longer stays. I'd call this a 3.5-star property masquerading as a 4-star - it's comfortable and functional, but don't expect luxury polish. LOCATION: The location is both the hotel's biggest selling point and its most controversial aspect. You're literally a 5-minute walk from Nana BTS station, which connects you to the entire city effortlessly. Terminal 21 shopping mall is one stop away, and major malls like CentralWorld, Emporium, and Siam Paragon are all easily accessible. There's a 7-Eleven right outside the hotel, and countless dining options surround you. The hotel even provides a complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to the BTS station every hour, which is a nice touch. However - and this is important - you're staying in the Nana entertainment district, which is heavy on nightlife and adult entertainment. If you're traveling with family or prefer quieter surroundings, this will matter. DINE + DRINK: The breakfast at Spice Brasserie is serviceable but nothing to write home about - it gets you fed and started for the day, but don't expect culinary excellence. The buffet spread offers a decent variety with eggs, noodle soup, pastries, and some Asian options, though vegetarian food lovers will find slim pickings. ROOM: We stayed in Room 905, which was a ONE-BEDROOM SUITE, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Barely any view, and the whole room felt a bit Dark!; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good-sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa-quality toiletries FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights, workout stations, and Cardio machines SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages
