Having stayed at this property under previous management regimes where service and facility issues were met with complete unresponsiveness, our recent stay began with a very familiar and frustrating setback. After returning to the hotel from a morning at the hospital, I was locked out due to a completely broken room door. To make matters worse, front office staff knew about the door issue hours earlier but did nothing to prepare a solution, the request for a safe repair had been ignored, and our room was left unserviced. Given my medical situation, the initial breakdown in communication and lack of empathy were deeply disappointing. However, what happened next set a completely new standard for this hotel. The General Manager, Khun Poomy, stepped up immediately. He showed zero hesitation to meet with me directly, look me in the eye, and take full personal ownership of the cross-departmental failures. Rather than offering excuses, he immediately put structural fixes in place and fairly resolved our initial trouble. Over the remaining days of our stay, the operational recovery was flawless. The service delivered by the team over the next 48 hours was excellent, reflecting Khun Poomy’s active, responsive leadership. In fact, we felt comfortable enough with the property's direction that my family even decided to extend our stay further. If you are looking for a hotel where leadership actively listens, takes genuine accountability, and delivers on high standards, this property is in fantastic hands under Khun Poomy.
