Large and spacious service apartments with clean and fully equipped rooms, including a complete kitchen. Somerset Park Suanplu offers rooms ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms. The special feature is that the usable area starts from 70 sq. ft. m². Going up, you could say it's comfortable and not cramped! Upon entering the room, you'll find a large kitchen area with an electric stove, refrigerator, hot water dispenser, toaster, and microwave, along with complimentary drinking water, tea, and coffee. There is a dining table for 4 people to sit and eat, drink tea, or coffee. A sofa area for watching TV, with a window and a large balcony for enjoying city views. The separate bedroom is well-proportioned and includes a separate television and air conditioning unit. It features a queen-size bed with two pillows per person, and a walk-in closet area with clothes hangers and an ironing board. The bathroom is spotless with a soaking tub and complete bathroom amenities. And there are also project amenities such as an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, gym/fitness room, spa, garden, and kids' club. Parking is available, and a shuttle service is provided to the BTS/MRT stations (e.g., BTS Sala Daeng, MRT Silom, or MRT Lumpini). Pets are also welcome. The atmosphere around the accommodation is surrounded by gardens and lush green trees, making the surroundings cool and pleasant. The cafe, where drinks and pastries are prepared and sold, is located on the second floor of the L'Envol Art Space by Arnaud Nazare-Aga, which features works by the renowned French artist. Artwork: Inside the store, the decor simulates the atmosphere of a book, with sculptures of characters from "The Little Prince" displayed in various locations, including a large Little Prince statue prominently placed in front of the store. The drinks (coffee, matcha) and cakes are made with high-quality ingredients. I ordered a matcha latte, choosing between Hoshi and Hikari premium and ceremonial grade matcha. Prices start at 150 baht per cup. There are also cocoa and coffee options available. Ordering a hot cocoa and a hot matcha latte will get you beautiful Little Prince patterns on top, accompanied by two cute, buttery star-shaped cookies for 30 baht. I have to say, I really enjoyed sitting there relaxing in the afternoon. / In the evening (Wednesday - Sunday, 5:00 PM - midnight), the ground floor transforms into a Lounge Bar surrounded by trees, fish ponds, and an outdoor area, creating a different kind of chill. If you're a cafe hopper, you absolutely have to visit! Let's stop by the famous sourdough sandwich shop, #Bartel. It's my favorite sourdough bread shop, and I have to say, staying here means you're never more than a kilometer away from anywhere you want to go. I ordered the Tunabasco sandwich and a Ginger shot. The sandwich was delicious, packed with filling, and just as enjoyable as always. The drink helped to refresh and aid digestion. The atmosphere at Bartel is relaxed and comfortable. Finish off with a must-try dinner at Wizard Mo's, a delicious fusion pizza and rich homemade ice cream in the Sathorn-Yen Akat area! 🍦 Pizza lovers, don't miss out! Today, let's head to a popular and highly-rated restaurant in the Sathorn-Yen Akat area: Wizard Mo 📍 This hybrid pizza place combines the fresh ingredients of Neapolitan-style pizza with the thin, crispy, light, and generously topped New York style! Let me tell you, this place is better than you think! 🍕 Unique pizza with thin, crispy, light crust and generous toppings! The first highlight worth praising is the pizza dough, which the restaurant meticulously ferments for over 72 hours at a frigid 3 degrees Celsius and uses Shio Koji instead of salt, resulting in a natural salty flavor. The resulting dough is thin, crispy, light, and very easy to eat, without feeling heavy in the stomach. ✨ Must-try pizza menu (recommended to order Half/Half to try multiple flavors!): • Pepperoni (using Chorizo from Spain): This isn't just regular pepperoni; it uses Chorizo from Spain. The flavor is perfectly balanced between salty and spicy, and it complements the dough beautifully. • Puttanesca (The Must Try!): This is the ultimate pizza! The base is a homemade fresh tomato sauce, fermented and sprinkled with anchovies, chili peppers, garlic, capers, olives, and basil, which the chef grinds until fragrant. The saltiness of the anchovies, the spiciness of the chili peppers, and the aroma of the basil combine perfectly. If you like bold flavors, you have to try this! • Five Cheese (for cheese lovers): Packed with 5 delicious types of cheese! Whether it's Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Emmental Cheese, Telleggio, or Gran Padano Cheese, all are topped on a cream-based sauce (or you can choose fresh tomato sauce). Extremely spacious accommodation and amazing value for money. What I paid for over 10 nights is less than what I paid for 3 nights in a Hyatt Hotel in Japan. Great space with seperate bedroom suite and lounge areas. Big kitchenette and spacious bathroom. The only negative is the bath is high and if you have any issues with your knee it could be a safety hazard getting in and out to have a shower. Just be very careful but then get into your robe provided by the hotel chain and lay across the bed it’s very comfortable especially after a long flight from Australia to Thailand. You will sleep well. The views are terrific with the buildings all lit up at night I have travelled to over 30 countries and stayed mostly in Hyatts due to my working background and these rooms are way bigger. The pool area is magnificent I was so excited I fell backwards into the water fully dressed 2 hrs before I was due to be picked up. Well worth the accidental dip the water is gorgeous. The breakfast room is a hit too with everything from American breakfast to sliced fruits and minimal pastries. Various hot dishes to choose from covering lots of tastes. I chose the sliced fresh fruits. Delicious and a pastry for later. Staff were all busy doing their jobs and very cheerful. Once you visit and settle in with the air con on and decide on the plan of your day you will be glad you did. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 simply because it feels a little older than a new building but nothing to whinge about.

They man the front door but provided such a welcoming, caring and fun experience that made our stay great. They were fantastic in helping us with local advice and information as well, thanks guys. The Somerset is a nice hotel with big spacious rooms and a small kitchen/ mid size fridge and pots, frypan and utensils. Full dining table and separate bathroom and walk-in robe too. Salae Daeng BTS train station is 10 minutes walk away (I think they do a free transfer) and this location has shopping malla with 2 large supermarkets like a Woolworths or Coles in Australia. Great coffee next door at Smoking Cat Cafe and great pub next to that - the Drunken Cat 🤣 that plays Australian sports and has great tap beers and food.

I love Somerset. I have stayed here on multiple occasions over the past 10 years. As a long-term stay (approx 1 year) and as a short term resident. Anything from a single night to several weeks. This time finishing up a 3 month stay. The area is fantastic. Great restaurants, cafes and bars. 10min walk to BTS or MRT. Rooms are always well maintained and clean but most important though is the staff. Always fabulous service. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Bangkok
