We arrived early at the hotel, and the receptionist named Jack was very accommodating and helpful from the moment we arrived. Even though the rooms were still unavailable at first, he still tried his best to assist us. I even offered to pay for early check-in, but instead, he kindly looked for an available room and luckily managed to let us check in around 35 minutes before the official 2PM check-in time. We truly appreciated his effort and excellent customer service. The room itself was very nice, we loved the river and pool view, the cold air-conditioning, and the cozy atmosphere. The lobby was beautiful and relaxing, and the pool area was also lovely. My 13-year-old daughter especially enjoyed the pool and the slide, and we even had a fun night swimming experience during our stay. Breakfast was decent overall, with a mix of usual Western and Asian food selections. There were vegetables available which was good, and they also had a waffle corner although we were not able to try it. However, the pasta was a bit dry and not soft, and my daughter mentioned that the bacon was quite hard. The rest of the food was okay overall. I also had a small concern during breakfast one morning before 7:30AM before we went to the temple. I needed to work for a few minutes while my daughter was eating, so I politely requested a bigger 3- or 4-seater table instead of the small round table. Unfortunately, the female staff told me those tables were only for families. I understand that larger groups may be prioritized, but since there were still many vacant tables at that early hour, I felt a bit disappointed because my daughter and I are also a family even though we were only two people. Still, the rest of the experience was very pleasant. One night after returning from the night market, I went to the reception to buy water, but the receptionist kindly told me there was no need to pay and gave us two complimentary bottles instead, which was a thoughtful gesture. Housekeeping also cleaned the room properly, which we appreciated. On our second night, we accidentally overslept and woke up around 11:30AM. Since check-out time was 12 noon, the hotel kindly allowed us to extend until 12:30PM, which really helped us prepare comfortably before leaving. Thank you to Jack and the whole hotel team for making our stay comfortable and welcoming. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would happily come back again.
