, We visited Bankok for the first time The hotel is a great location near to most of the shopping centres and atractions. A large, clean suite , very comfortable, the staff is very welcoming, ready to assist in any issue. , great pool, tasty breakfeast

“Comfortable family stay in a quiet spot with great access to the city!”

Stayed a few nights here with family and came away with a positive impression overall, with a couple of minor issues worth flagging. 👍 The Room We had a One Bedroom Prestige Suite - spacious, comfortable and recently refurbished. Despite the property being older, there's no sense of age once you're inside. The living area has a large sofa and a kitchenette with cutlery, crockery, microwave, kettle, fridge and a washer/dryer - particularly useful when travelling with young children and needing to reheat food. The bathroom was generously sized with a separate bathtub and shower, meaning two people can freshen up at the same time - a small but practical luxury when travelling with family. Clean throughout, and the hotel's quiet side street means virtually no outside noise which is a genuine plus for light sleepers. 👍 Facilities The pool has a lovely view of the surroundings and was never crowded during our visits. The gym is older but perfectly functional for a solid workout. There's a children's play area (daytime only), a vending machine with snacks and drinks and a coin-operated laundromat on-site. We didn't try the on site-restaurant. 👍 Location Hard to beat. A short 5-minute walk to BTS Chit Lom puts you within easy reach of Bangkok's main shopping and dining corridors. Sarnie's which does an excellent breakfast and brunch is right opposite the hotel and Mercuryville Mall at the BTS has a Starbucks along with other restaurants and shops. The trade-off for the peaceful, private street is that the nearest 7-Eleven is about 7-10 minutes away on Soi Langsuan with no convenience stores on the hotel's street itself. A handful of good coffee shops are also within walking distance. 👍 Staff Polite, helpful and check-in was quick and easy throughout our stay. 👎 The Downsides 👎 The suite received very little natural light even during the day we needed the lights on which felt like a shame. The balcony is far too small to be functional barely enough room to stand with half the space taken up by the air conditioning units. Fine for drying laundry, but don't expect to enjoy a morning coffee out there. 👎 Bathroom drainage was a problem as the shower drained slowly and emptying the bathtub caused water to back up and flood the bathroom floor. A maintenance issue the hotel should look to address. 👍 Overall Minor gripes aside, Bliston Suwan is a solid choice for families wanting space, peace, and a great location in Bangkok. The combination of a quiet, residential feel with easy BTS access and good nearby dining makes it well-suited to families who want comfort and convenience without the noise. Would recommend with the caveats noted above.
