Ive been using this hotel for many years now and I like the hotel, the staff, pool and gym however, the BIG problem is the lack of control over the smoking areas. I usually have a room with balcony ( non smoking) but I can’t use the balcony because if I open my balcony doors my room gets filled with smoke and sometimes even marijuana as the hotel puts smokers in the rooms above, below, left and right of the non smoking rooms so you can not open your balcony door. In addition, there is a smoking area outside the hotel entrance and exit door so every time you leave or enter the hotel you have to walk through the clouds of smoke. As per usual in the land of smiles, smokers get the best deal. Suggestions. If you allocated the top floor or even top 2 floors then the smoke will only go up freeing the lower floors from OTHER people’s smoke. As for the ONLY outside sitting area. Only smokers can use it ( unless you want to inhale someone else’s smoke). There is no designated area outside for NON smokers. There is a lot of free space along the side of the hotel by the carpark that would be an ideal area for smokers. I do enjoy this hotel and hope my comments are taken in the context it deserves I.e to make the hotel more NON smoking friendly but still catering for ALL.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before covid and was looking froward to staying there again. Unfortunately since then the hotel in my opinion has gone downhill. When I arrived I noticed the restaurant was vacant and they have changed the area at the front of the hotel into a large smoking area. Every time I came back you smelt dope and cigerette smoke and unless you were a smoker you wouldn't sit out there. I had a room on the top floor in the front building. The hallway was very dirty and when I walked to the pool the soles of my feet were black. The sheets on the bed had lipstick and several dirty marks so I was unsure if they had been washed. The hot water in the shower had periods where it was only lukewarm. Would I stay there again, no.

“Dynasty Grande is not what it used to be.”

Dynasty Grande is not what it used to be. They got rid of their wonderful restaurant. They down graded the lobby. They removed one of the security locks from inside the room. Overall, what used to be a 3 star hotel is now a 1 or 2 star hotel. I was surprised at my latest visit. I have stayed there… more

Dynasty Grande is not what it used to be. They got rid of their wonderful restaurant. They down graded the lobby. They removed one of the security locks from inside the room. Overall, what used to be a 3 star hotel is now a 1 or 2 star hotel. I was surprised at my latest visit. I have stayed there several times in the past when they were nice. I think the rate is a little lower now, so along with the downgrade at least the rate is lower.

“Not the same as before the pandemic but decent value and most rooms real quiet.”

I was a longtime visitor at this hotel. Coming back after the pandemic, the hotel reopened slowly. I have visited multiple times over last year here. The rooms are spacious. Air conditioning can be almost too strong and hard to moderate at times. The gym is huge with lots of older machines… more

I was a longtime visitor at this hotel. Coming back after the pandemic, the hotel reopened slowly. I have visited multiple times over last year here. The rooms are spacious. Air conditioning can be almost too strong and hard to moderate at times. The gym is huge with lots of older machines for isolation. Everything worked in regards to that I tried. Lots of dumbells, smith machine, and benches. I did not try any of the cardio machines. Had a pull up/dip machine in addition. The problem with the gym is there is no Wi-Fi access in it and there is no air conditioning. Lots of windows you can open but I never experienced a breeze that would help in there. They have 3 ceiling fans in there but it's not enough. You will likely sweat it up in there just by being in there if not under a fan. The front street facing rooms can be a little noisier with tuk tuk's. The other rooms are incredibly quiet. My issues with my last trip and why I don't think I'll come back. The gym I mentioned above was a bit too hot. I had been losing Wi-Fi in my room and they just want to reset the router every time. If I didn't call them sometimes it would come back on on it's own. I also started getting bit up by mosquitoes. Never had that issue before but it's a big deal for me as mosquitoes for some reason love my blood and just keep coming back for more. The staff are all nice. The location is near a big red light district but the street is on is not real seedy except at the end towards Soi Nana but really tame in comparison. Very close to BTS Nana and Sukhumvit. Walking Soi Nana at night can be very long and tedious if you are not doing any business there, recommend if trying to get to Sukhumvit or BTS just do it through Soi 6 or Soi 8.
