“Good”

Good place to stay, near italthai pier! Very good for quick and easy transportation. The nearest metro is phetchaburi and sukhumvit at opposite side! The apartment is provided with wifi, laundry machine, complete kitchen. The apartment cleaning is included in the price, every day!

We have booked room 45 sq. meters for 3 nights and its was beyond our expectations. Room is big, cozy and well organized. Room was cleaned everyday and 2 bottles of water was provided. Location is great. First of all is quiet. A lot of services by condo provided : free shuttle 3 times a day to nearest BTS station (Prom Pon). Even if you have miss it , you can just walk about 100 meters and get taxi meter to anywhere you want. Couple of great restaurants in walking distance (vegetarian as well) Gym and swimming pool (which we never used, but its a good benefits) Great value for this money. 2000 baht per night. by booking com

Siamese Gioia are basically serviced apartments within a condominium in a residential area, with some hotel services (daily room make up, reception, 24hr guard). Breakfast is not available, so needs to be arranged by guests themselves (can easily prepare breakfast in the apartment kitchen area). We rented one 3-bedroom penthouse apartment (all rooms on first floor and good-size roof terrace on second floor) and one 1-bedroom apartment. We actually liked the design of the 1-bedroom apartment most with it's flow-through lay-out (bathroom - bedroom - living area). Quality of the furnishings was fine, but not top quality (showing some wear and tear). Both apartments were nicely appointed and well equipped (free wifi, kitchen equipment, airco's, bathroom amenities). The condo swimming pool does not get much sun so the water can be a bit cold. We didn't use the condo gym, but it seemed to be reasonably well-equipped and in good shape. Service was pretty good, also thanks to the very good service by the housekeeping staff. Staff were also very flexible in meeting our specific needs with respect to check-in and check-out times. The location of the condo is in a quiet residential area down 31 Sukhumvit Road (can be a bit tricky to find the condo though as 31 Sukhumwit Road has many twists and turns so better get a good map or route description), so it takes about 20 minutes by taxi to get to for example Siam Paragon and the Silom area. To get to the airport probably takes about 45 minutes with normal traffic. There is a 24hr 7-Eleven nearby as well as a small shopping mall with a good large supermarket in it and some ATM's (within 5 minutes walking from the condo). One of the best discoveries around this condo was the K-Ram restaurant, which is just around the corner from the condo and has fantastic authentic Thai food for a good price and with very good service, so we would recommend that very much! That restaurant also does takeaways, which we have used several times. The price for the apartments was quite high for Bangkok, but that was probably largely due to it being peak season (New Years weekend). The relatively high price basically is the main reason for giving this accommodation a 3 rating instead of 4.
