Our second stay at Devasom Hua Hin Resort during the New Year period was absolutely wonderful. It remains one of our favorite destinations for a peaceful family getaway. The service here is consistently exceptional, every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. What made this trip truly special were the activities provided by the resort. My mother particularly loved the Sound Healing Meditation session, it was a deeply relaxing experience for her and a highlight of our stay. We had a fantastic time bonding as a family in such a beautiful setting. We are already looking forward to our third visit!

Our stay at Devasom Huahin felt like discovering a hidden treasure. The entire resort has such a nostalgic and intimate charm that sets it apart from larger chains. One of the most unforgettable sights was the heart-shaped tree on the property—it’s incredibly beautiful and creates such a romantic, picture-perfect atmosphere. Also feeling like Alice wonderland in Huahin due to magical sunset and timless architect the real highlight of our stay was the F&B experience. The quality of the food is extremely outstanding. We tried some traditional Huahin dishes, and the attention to detail in every plate was impressive. It truly kept our appetites stimulated throughout the meal! not to mention about kind manners and smile everywhere In particular, there was a dish that tasted very similar to Korean Galbi (braised short ribs). It was so delicious and savory that I ended up having two bowls of rice just to soak up all the flavors! If you appreciate fine dining and a peaceful, scenic getaway, Devasom is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place where every detail, from the landscape to the kitchen, is crafted with care."

“Beautiful horel”

What a beautiful hotel right on the beach. We had a suite on the top floor. Please note no lift but the cottages round the pool are beautiful with own balcony. Try for the front one by the beach to get fabulous views of the beach and gardens

“A Lovely Old-Fashioned Ambience With One Caveat”

We stayed here for 10 nights in February. The hotel has a very 'old-fashioned' appreance, with lots of wood, exposed beams, creating a 'colonial' feel the the building. The grounds, although not large, are beautifully-kept with floral shrubs and ornamental ponds. Service throughout was excellent with staff keen to ensure an enjoyable stay. Food was first class, served with care and style, all of which adds to the ambience. Our room was nicely furnished, again in an 'older' style (not a criticism) with exposed timber floorboards and wood panelling on the walls. There were some elements which we did not enjoy however. One of which was the noisy air-conditioning. Fortunately, we were able to use the unit in the living room-area at night, and turn off the unit in the bedroom. Had we not done so, this would have been a serious annoyance. The other irritation (from our perspective) was the almost-constant 'background' music which was played throughout the hotel, including through speakers on the landings outside the rooms (and sometimes very early in the mornings). Worse, the music was often (not always) improvised or 'free' jazz (which is most-definitely not our taste). On a couple of oaccasions during the day, the staff turned it down/off for us, which we appreciated. I never understand hotels' obsession with background noise. This hotel is in a beautiful beach location, the wind blows through the trees in the garden and the gentle sounds of the fountains in the ponds are all perfect, natural and all anyone could ever need. Otherwise, we enjoyed a lovely stay in a hotel that has a distinct style and ambience. One final observation is that this is definitely NOT a hotel for children. The grounds are small, and the swimming/splash pools are very close to some of the rooms. During our visit, there were two families with (very-badly behaved) children who were annoying other guests (Obviously the parents did nothing). The staff did their best but we do understand it is difficult for them to 'chastise' guests. My suggestion would be that the hotel becomes 'adult-only' to which it is well-suited.
