One of the best places I have ever stayed! Amazing staff and great rooms! Stayed for over two weeks. Good location for Old Town and markets. Will be back soon. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Very cool hotel”

I stayed in 3 different rooms in the hotel as each one is like a work of art and loved them all. Its fun to just walk around the hotel and look around at all the interesting art and furniture. The location is great and I enjoyed several meals and cocktails in the cafe.

Thought it might be easier to sum up our stay with a pro/con list -- Pros: - Location!! Honestly, the one thing that might bring me back to Mo Rooms (if all the nearby hotels are booked up) is the location. It is right near Tha Pae Gate which was amazing especially for the NYE lantern festival and there are so many shops/marketplaces/massage places/food right near by, we barely took a cab anywhere and had so much to do every day and night. - The staff - almost everyone we spoke to were so friendly and helpful (I say almost, because one staff member was not super friendly when I had an issue with the Wifi). Cons: - The rooms. I guess I should have realized based on other reviews, but I honestly didn't have too many choices for the time of year we went. But I wasn't a fan of the rooms. For one night we were in the Monkey room, which had a cool design but the pros end there. I hated the mattress, the black walls and floors (felt unclean), the shower and toilet that had no curtain or anything separating it from the rest of the room. Then we were moved to the Pig room which was MUCH better. The toilet at least had a door but the bed was not comfortable. If we had been stuck in the Monkey room I may have given this place one star, but the Pig room was much more manageable and was fine for the rest of our stay. -WiFi - NO WORKING WIFI, we maybe had Wifi for half a day (out of the five days we stayed) which was very frustrating. If a hotel is going to advertise working wifi, there should be working wifi. I understand things happen sometimes but on the second day of our stay the wifi turned off, we called the front desk and a lady came to help us. She was not super friendly (but not rude either) and said that they need to have someone come and fix it and that it might take a couple hours, I said I understood and we went out for the day (this was around 12 pm). At around 9 pm we returned to the hotel and of course, the wifi isn't working still. I went down to the front desk and the staff member there called the same lady who (in a slightly rude voice) said "It won't get fixed in the day, I told you that. It won't be fixed till tomorrow!" I said I understood but that I was told it would be fixed in a couple of hours, I then asked her to confirm that it would be working by tomorrow and she said yes. There was no real apology or anything and she kinda made it sound like I was being unreasonable expecting the Wifi to work nine hours later (even though she said it would only take a few hours). It did work the next morning but then stopped at night and did not work for the rest of the trip. I gave up asking them about it because I knew I would get the same response. I understand that this is Thailand and there may be issues, but every other restaurant/massage place etc. had working wifi in that area, and this seems to be a reoccurring issue so they really need to get this fixed. -Shower pressure/temperature: The temp of the water was just warm enough to make it manageable but the water pressure sucked. Overall, as mentioned above, I would only stay here again (and specifically request the Pig room) if I had no other option in that area because the location/most of the staff were great. Otherwise, would probably pass.
